Why we will win the league

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If all hope is lost just stick your head in the sand and make up fantasy football.
That's not what I'm doing. I think it was all quite clearly thought out actually. I think saying 'well that's it, might as well give up' is being pig-headed actually. You never know mate, chin up.
The unpredictability of football could also mean that United would trounce all the other teams 5-0 and walk away with the league.
Fair point. Then the best team really would have won!

Top man Stevie! Just got back from walking the hound and I was also running things through my mind, trying to turn despair into the positive!! IF, and of course based on how we're not scoring many at the moment it's a fookin HUGE if, we do win our last seven games (yes I know, there's Utd in there, but remember 98 and 02?!) and Chelsea and Utd draw in their meeting then 'all' it takes is for Utd to draw one more game and it's ours. As Gordon Ramsay would say................DONE!!!!!

The best team would win the league even if United win it by one point or goal difference.

I really hope your right about some of those games where United drop points but to be honest, I can't see them losing that many games...

... Unless Ronaldo breaks his leg! 8)

Wow. What an excellent post. Good work, Stevie. I still don't think we'll win it, but you've done a lot to make me believe it's not over yet - something that no one on here has been able to make me think! Fuck it, even when we were top a while back, I was convinced we'd finish third!

Although, at this stage, I'd settle for a respectable finish...1 point behind the leaders? I'd see that as progress. However, after reading Stevie's post, who knows, eh?
