sorry but thats flannel in my opinion. Vela is a god 2 or 3 years off and we have no natural left winger. Diaby looks shit cause he always has too cut inside. Hleb is an average left winger and he doesnt like playing there. Who else is going to play left wing. The left wing is wengers biggest problem. Van persie doesnt work out there. we need him playing a forward striker role. Wenger can shut up the critics b buying a top class left winger like Portos Quaresma but its never gonna happen sadly.

And we have the best right sided player in Eboue dont we? . I just feel we have decent cover on the left with Vela coming whereas none on the right.

yeah but you forget we have players like rosicky and hleb who can actually play quite well on the right. Diaby would be more comfortable on the right. The left for me is clearly an emergency. at least we have right sided players. Clichy cant play down the left on his own

How can you say that Diaby and Rosicky will be more comfortable and play better on the right when they havent actually played there? I think Rosicky is decent on the left when he plays and if he can stay fit will do a job for us. Diaby is a central midfield player. He would be as ineffective on the right as he is on the left.

Rosicky has played many a time on the right for Czech Rep, Sparta and spends a great deal of his time hugging the right wing. Diaby would clearly be better suited on the right than the left if hes not going to play in the centre. for starters he wouldnt need to take so many touches to get himself into a decent position like he would on the left. seeing as ur so keen to argue the point tell me exactly who we have who is good enough to play consistently on the left wing

I dont recall Rosicky playing on the right for us, if he has, it hasnt been on many occasions. Since you keep insisting that he will be so good on the right, ill say when he has been fit he has been pretty decent on the left. And like i asked before, what are you basing your judgement than Diaby will be better at the right than the left on? How exactly can you say he wouldnt need to take so many touches to get himself in a good position when hes playing on the right? We have Vela coming and he has been playing on the left wing for Osasuna. We have Rosicky who again when fit has played reasonably well on the left wing. Even Hleb can play on the left wing, if both Rosicky and Vela are injured. Whereas on the right we have Eboue, who is well sh*t more often than not. Then we have Walcott, who is still not ready to start week in week out. If we are going to buy just one winger, we will be better off either buying someone who is reasonably comfortable on both sides or an out and out right winger.

I think its about time Wenger wakes up and smell the coffee and start buying five or six players to strengthen the squad for next season won nothing for three seasons nearly just not good enough.
