justify and given your self proclaimed great knowledge - i think you actually know fuck all - of football, do let me and my son know what you think of arse shavings whiles you are it.
Mr. Pudding,

Only just seen this post. So, you reckon I know nothing about football? After some of the things you've written - e.g. Riise's own goal? You've got a fecking cheek!!

However, seeing as you asked - albeit wrapped around an insult of my football knowledge, which then beggers the question why you would want my opinion  - I have seen as much of him as most on here have: games for Russia, and a few Eufa Cup matches. From that I would say he looks a very good player and certainly wouldn't have a problem fitting into our style of play.

And what exactly is it you want me to justify? :?

you continue to be irrational

applying your logic its not ok to buy players from struggling english clubs but it is from eg struggling french clubs. where the bloody hell do you think sagna came from and do you think he was a bad buy.
.
Now what the feck are you going on about here? :? Me claiming Bullard isn't good enough for Arsenal equates to saying it's okay to buy from struggling french clubs, in what way? Unless your claiming that I'm saying Arsenal should never buy from a small club, which I'm not. And how does Sagna - who by the way was already an international and much sought after before we bought him, unlike Bullard - fit in to this arguement?
rolypoly wrote:at least others who disagree like ram and flash put forward a sound argument...
If you read other threads rather than just the ones where you try and stoke up controversy with your bullshit statements, you would know that I had already given reasons why Bullard wasn't a good enough player when it was raised before. Seeing as others on this thread had already covered the points I would have made, I didn't feel it necessary to repeat the reasons Bullard wasn't good enough yet again.
rolypoly wrote:..but what could i expect of someone who in answer to the chelski conspiracy claimed final being in moscow or mr a being russian irrelevant..
And what could I expect from a clearly football knowledge-less arsehole who wonders why Riise was in his 6 yard box trying to clear a cross from his opposite side?
rolypoly wrote:how does someone who cant think straight get to be a moderator - then again i suppose it does make sense given that yourboss was dozy enough to do the the moronic " catch us if you can" headline..
Deary me, is that really the best you can do in terms of an insult?  I mean, you should know plenty as judging by your contributions on here, you must be used to getting insulted on a daily basis!!
rolypoly wrote:i`m not suggesting bullard is or will be a world beater but as a poss replacement for flam about whom 12 months ago you doubters would have made same comments about, it is to be considered..
I considered it and then came to the conclusion that the suggestion was a load of bollocks!!
rolypoly wrote:mr bread hater-your silence on arse shavings is deafening -why dont you just admit your ignorance.
Fucking hell, give a bloke a chance!! I was busy reading other threads and then some other Arsenal-related stuff!!  As for admitting my ignorance: I'm willing to bet you everything
you 'supposedly' won on your Chelsea bet that were me and you to have some kind of contest as to who was most knowledgeable on football, I would win it!!

I've forgotten more about football and footballers then you will ever know or learn, so stop being a prick and trying to question my knowledge or insult my intelligence!! You might be 'clever' when it comes to the law, but when it comes to sport in general and football in particular, you are fighting from a position of extreme weakness and you just aren't packing the 'hardware' of knowledge to trouble me matey!!

andrei arshavin aka arse shavings is very good player. i watched him play for Zenit against bayer leverkusen earlier in the uefa cup and immediately thought that he could easily slot into our style of play and was interested in us signing him, then again ive seen him since against munich and rangers and he looks like a very good player, already zenit captain i think so perhaps he may have that leadership mentality that we need and he is relatively unheard of and technically sound, a typically wenger signing so i would be surprised if we see him in our colours this year

MR BREAD HATER or should we call you mr angry

its not my fault you are so lacking in football knowledge that you did not bet on chelski to get to moscow, zenit to win uefa cup or villareal to come in top three

sagna had maybe one cap before joining arsenal and big clubs weren`t after him otherwise they would have got him.

but you have hit the nail on the head. i have no doubt you have forgotten loads about football etc-i forget nothing

cant bring yorself to admit you know nothing about arse shaving can you.

and as for riise only an idiot could not see that it was a deliberate own goal-this is a highly paid elite footballer not a pub team player

and only an idiot can call himself i hate hleb without knowing it means i hate bread -you dont do any research do you -not even into your own name

anyway time for pub. if you want a good tip on final its to bet that .......

I think this is where you may get peoples back up - yes, it was a strange own goal but to suggest that anyone who doesn't agree with you that it was a deliberate own goal is an idiot is just you reverting to type.

Sagna was called up to the France team before he signed for us, but he never got a cap.

Dixon's "goal" against Seaman, when he chipped it in from outside he box was weird and very strange but doesn't mean he did it on purpose :?

Anyway, as I said before I wouldn't mind Bullard as back-up in our squad and Arshavin is a more direct version of Hleb. What would be interesting if we signed him up, is what position would he play in? He could play on the either wing but he'll be more pushed up and we wouldn't really expect him to track back much. He likes to cut in like Pires and Ljunberg did. He could play in a play-maker role behind the striker/strikers and it'd be very useful in Europe if we'd play 4-5-1 which we do at times. Could also cover up front, he gets a decent amount of goals so he is alright there.

Rolypoly,

I'm no longer going to entertain your imbecilic rantings and deliberate wind-ups any more. Despite (or is that because of?) your profession, you're obviously a fool. Just another version of Pancho, but without the saving grace of having a sense of humour occasionally.

By the way, I told you what I know about Andrei Arshavin above. You see, unlike you, I only speak about things I know about. Just because you can speak russian or have spent time there and know a couple of their national players, it doesn't make you an expert on football. Neither does a couple of winning bets - if indeed they ever happened.

Like I said previously, I'd be more than happy to go head to head with you in a test of knowledge on anything sports related - especially football. Indeed, I'd go as far as to say that I'd be willing to take you on regarding any subject except for the law. You see, I have you tapped as someone who was obviously educated above their intelligence. I bet you're glad they invented Wikipedia, eh?

Finally, should you want to find out in person whether or not I really am an idiot, like you claim, then I sit in Block 17 Seat 537 and would be more than happy to set you straight!!

bread hater

you are a fruit bat.

and deluded about your self importance

what on earth makes you think i would ever wish to meet you but i am flattered that you would wish to me. charging rate out of work hours would be 200 pounds per hour plus vat. discount for gooners but 50% surcharge for deranged fruitbats

Me self-important? No matey, it's you RolyPoly that is the sanctimonious arsehole with a 1st class degree in bullshit!! You're the one that set up a thread in order to boast of how much you supposedly 'won' on bets to show everyone how clever you are. Not self-important at all that, is it? Although I noted that you were reluctant to name the bookie with whom you had the wager. Wonder why?

You go around throwing out insults like moron and dickhead, and think you are so much better than the rest of us because you're a lawyer and drink bitter. You look down your middle class nose as if we should be honoured to have you in our presence. Then to top it off, you brag about how much your robbing..er..earning, as if how much you get in the wage packet validates your football arguments or signifies the level of your knowledge or intellect. By the way, you charge £200 per hour? It brings to mind the following: If you would know what God thinks of money, you have only to look at those to whom he gives it!!

As for me wishing to meet you, I have no such desire. It's bad enough having to communicate with you via the internet. I shudder to think how reprehensible you are in 'real' life.  No, I just offered you the opportunity to meet me should you wish to find out in person the extent of my idiocy. Alas, it seems like most of your profession, you're all mouth.

for those who dont know 'Hleb' is bread in Polish.

Going back to the subject of the thread, i think we need 1 great winger and 1 squad mid player. Bullard would fit in. He is a fighter and a winner.

1 good defender, and one young defender who can get better as time goes on and the prem is ours next season!!!
