As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Don't feel bad Hatfield. I found myself in the same situation this season as I moved up to Manchester last May.
I found that I was spending ridiculous amounts of money coming back down to London every other weekend and so handed my ST over to a few pals of mine for £30 a pop. I think as long as your not earning from the ticket you are giving other fans a chance to go and support the team we all love.
It doesn't make you less of a fan. If anything, you are giving others the chance to enjoy in the experience. I know there are Red Members who would argue that you should go through the TX but (having been a red memeber for a year before a ST holder) I think you should use the ticket you have paid and waited for for your pals. If there are no takers then I would suggest the forum as the next best place.
Personally . . . It has all ended happily for me. The Missus broke off our engagement so now I'm moving back to London and can go to more games My mates aren't too happy as that means less tickets on offer Though, if I'm short for cash who knows

Ticket prices have increased about tenfold over the last 20 years, but wages have not!
In October the minimum wage is going up by 20 odd pence
my brother and my dad share a ST and if I'm not working on a Saturday I go instead. My dad paid £990.00 last season, and has gone up to £1010.00 this coming season. It was easy to predict the 10% rise but at the end of the day were just working class people and no matter how much we love Arsenal and love to go and watch the games - we are considering that if next season they put up another rise in price we could be forced to share our ticket with someone else. It's not what we want but what choice do we have?

Couldn't have been all bad in Manchester this year. You wouldn't have had tonnes of annoying United fans gloating like we have in London, just sympathetic City fans.
