Oasis

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm the thurs as well as we've got a wedding by Waterloo on the fri afternoon. This'll be my 4th time (Wembley 2000, Reading Fest 2000 and Soton Rose Bowl 2005). Fucking quality. Would loved to have seen them supported by the Charlatans, their new stuff sounds a lot like New Order, its good work.
Saying that, got to see the Mondays support them at Wembley, that was awesome.

Tried to phone while at work, got through at about 10AM and both nights sold.

Seen them at Wembley, Reading, Finsbury Park and Chelmsford, they're great live

What was the face value of the tickets by the way?

I know, and whenever I hear don't look back in anger on the radio it's time to change channels. One band I hated because of their crapness years ago who I've seen live on tv recently and noticed a massive improvement is Supergrass. Does anyone listen to them these days?

Going to Bournemouth on the Monday
Face value was 38 quid :D

Saw them on the Morning Glory tour in Bmth when i was 17 and perforated my eardrum

Also seen em at Knebworth, Exeter on the Be Here Now tour, and Rosebowl on the Dont Believe the Truth tour (loads of Pompey/Saints fighting :? in the crowd.

They have been poor on all the occassions apart from Bmth and Knebworth but this ones for old times sake

Cus - Face valu was 38-45 depending on standing or seating

Comparing supergrass to Oasis is like comparing the Jam with the Lambrettas

I can't believe that's your genuine opinion. Oasis, awful? :? Is that your opinion of the genre, or Oasis in particular? Stone Roses? If you're not a fan of indie and rock & roll, then ok...but for the aforementioned genre's Oasis certainly don't class as awful.

Apparently its like a tout site but partnered with ticketmaster for some reason. Some tickets for Bournemouth were well over £500 half hour after it sold out.
