I think its Time to back Eboue

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I thought against Fulham he was our best player, I hate Eboue's antics but you cant deny the guy works fucking hard for the good of the team!
I think this could be Eboue's biggest season for us but we need to get behind him !
Outstanding you say "Outstanding" your level of outstanding is way out of touch with what is outstanding.
Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Fabregas, Van Persie can all say that they deserved the quote Outstanding.
Eboue on the other hand has just improved and on how shi.. he was last year that should have been the case anyway.

I'd agree that he hasn't been outstanding... however, week in, week out he has been a top man for us this year.

Best player by a mile against Fulham, and pretty good against WBA and Twente. For me, against Newcastle he was terrific, and v good again on Saturday.

Then he let me down with the 'dive' for the pen. Wenger says he is injured though, so I'll let him away with that one.

Keep it clean though Eboue- and then maybe you can become our latest hero called Emmanuel!

He's been a bit better than his usual mediocrity but outstanding?? No thanks. I would only play him as cover for Sagna and the sooner Nasri and Theo are patrolling the wings the better.

He could be considered the "most improved" player in the squad.

But he was shite last season. And therefor playing to a good standard is a massive improvement for him.

He still remains the most disliked Arsenal player in history. IMO.

If he continues to put in maximum effort. And if he totally cuts out the theatricals. Then I might begin to warm to him.

As said in another post let's make him a Cu*t Hero :barscarf:

Not one person can deny he has more effect on the game this season. I said before his great engine may allow him to develop into a tough DM type player. Win the ball, keep it simple. He would have no need for silky skills or passing four players, just win the ball and spread the play.

To be honest, he makes me laugh, he seems to have a child's brain.
His behavior on the pitch looks like a child's behavior. But he's a decent player .. Wenger already made Kolo a great center back, Henry one of the greatest strikers ever, etc ... I think Eboué could be a decent midfielder.

He's done okay up to now this season.....nothing more. To say he has been outstanding is ridiculous.
I hope his injury is not too bad as we need as many players on the fit list as possible, given that we do not have a strong squad.
He's a shirt filler still and only time will tell if he has the ability to improve to a standard whereby he is deserving of a first team place. I hope so for our sakes if not for his.

He is a good squad player but regular first team starter No.Theo and Nasri must always be picked before him.And he"s still a diver

Cannot say i would ever want to start with him in the team though unless he makes a large improvement in form.
top post quartz. i'd rather have theo tho eboue is capable.
