I think its Time to back Eboue

I think its Time to back Eboue

Post by TheOne2Smooth »

Yes I have questioned him many times but this season he has been outstanding so far! and he has a good engine on him yes he goes to ground faster than ton of rocks, That seems to be the one major problem at Blackburn I thought with the obvious acceptions of Theo and Ade he was our best player!

I thought against Fulham he was our best player, I hate Eboue's antics but you cant deny the guy works fucking hard for the good of the team!
I think this could be Eboue's biggest season for us but we need to get behind him !

I'm all for forgiving and forgetting but it shows just how he's thought of by opposing fans and the media alike when even in this morning's papers nevermind yesterdays, the general consensus is that he dived theatrically for the pen even tho he was stretchered off and AW said in his post match interview that it didn't look good for him, he has an awful lot of making up to do before he can expect to be looked upon with respect by anyone!

Seeing as we are stuck with the current squad at least until January, we must support Eboue.

I think he has improved in attitude this season, though it is early days.

I don't think anyone doubts he has done well so far this season.

However, it is going to take more than a few games to make peoples attitude change to a blatant and often embarassing cheat!

I hope his form continues.

I wouldn't say outstanding but would say he has done well. He is never going to be Cesc and he will never dribble past four men then score from 30 yards true but if he keeps playing like this, be glad to have him a squad player.

He drifts inside a lot from the right and gives an extra body in the center, his shooting may be awful, but this season his runs from deep have been useful and he is keeping possession so far whereas last season, he tended to give it away.

Eboue is never going to be Cesc thats like saying Djourou aint going tobe Sagna??? different types of player

and also I have often seen Eboue Skin many a player so i'm pretty sure he could beat 4 players

Maybe my post lacked clarity, I wasn't actually trying to compare him with Cesc, I meant Eboue will never be a brilliant player and he will never score wonder goals.

He sometimes gets past one man true but he isn't the most skillful dribbler in the team

He is a functional player, type of player who IF he gets rid of the play acting and diving and cheating, would make a reasonable squad player.

Cannot say i would ever want to start with him in the team though unless he makes a large improvement in form.
