A few thoughts on the first half:
Man of the half is obviously Jack Wilshere. He's been absolutely everywhere and it totally dictating the pace in the midfield. Such a mature performance in such a hostile fixture (especially given his age) is stunning. The fact that Sp*rs are clearly targeting him for repeated niggly fouling is testament to that.
Jack's performance does have one negative connotation though. It highlights (for those who didn't already know) just how average a footballer Denilson is. He's not a bad player, but he's not a particularly good one either. He's a safe passer and the fact that he gets near the first team is criminal. He's a squad player, at very best. With that in mind, I'd be tempted to promote Landsbury ahead of him. Henri hasn't done anything spectacular tonight (apart from scoring a fine goal) but I would argue that there is room for him to grow in to a role in this team. Denilson's had his chance, and although he's not a bad player, I just don't think he's of high enough quality for our team.
Another thing I've taken from the first half is how hilariously predictable a player Bentley is. On a couple of occasions, he's had better options, but his ego will only allow him to shoot. Once in a blue moon, he'll score a blinder, but more often than not, that will work to our advantage.
So - so far so good. I think Sp*rs are missing a trick in not targeting Fabianski and I think 'Arry will realise that. I expect changes in personnel from them and a more direct approach in the second half. I'd like to see us bring Chamakh on as Vela is clearly far too lightweight to play as centre forward.
So fingers crossed for the second half. I don't expect us to have it nearly as easy as we did in the first, but we're in a good position. Let's hope the boys score a couple more (and that the lino doesn't make any more shit decisions - it should be 2-0!!)
COME ON ARSENAL!!!

Right lads, good second half, another couple of goals and into the next round. Put the tiny tots out and get on with the big stuff. Keep the ball, run them ragged and the goals will come. Redcunt has clearly told his lumps of shit to target Jack and if we get involved in any of that nonsense, we'll end up getting caught out. One more early on and it's game over. Up to you boys, give them fucking both barells.

True but he should then be drifting inside and making the ball come to him.1989 wrote:Vela is getting fuck all service though.xDAVEYx wrote:vela isnt in the game, JET should come on and impose his big self

Quality first half performance. Can't help but feel the fact we've only come out 1-0 up is a bit worrying. Keane and Lennon on for the scum second half, so they're going to be going for it and we wont be able to push gibbs on so far with Lennon breaking down their right side.
Lets hope they keep it up!! COYG!!!!!!!!
