I think you're missing the point again, or cleverly avoiding it. You're trying to turn the argument on it's head again in an attempt to deflect the dicussion away from your lack of action - so despite several posts between us, I still have
no idea what's preventing you from publicising your campaign/petition to a wider audience? and why you have limited yourself to this forum alone?
So again...
- WHY no facebook group? ("not media savvy" is a tad vague.... have you tried setting up a facebook group? have you asked anyone to help set up a website??)
- WHY no website? (see above)
- WHY haven't you publicised your campaign on other forums? (surely limiting yourself to this forum is misguided and limits the exposure your campaign will get?)
- WHY haven't you written in to blogs and fanzines in an attempt to gain support? (have you written an online article for the gooner?? have you asked gooner.ed's advice??)
- In fact, WHAT is your stategy??
- and WHY should anyone sign, or offer their help and support, if you won't answer questions in a
concise manner?
USMartin wrote:And again your effort to blame me for the lack of will to take action is just excuse making for those who lack the will to act.
Now come on, I don't "blame" you - I'm questioning you. There's a difference. And my lack of action isn't the issue - after all, it's your petition, not mine and it's up to
you to make it a success.
USMartin wrote:Why should I act when its clear too many Gooners here believe their acting will make no difference
Fair enough, that's your decision, but surely that sort of attitude is the reason why you've only managed 11 signatures? and the reason I'm questioning whether this is a
serious campaign?
Also, surely you've just given a damn good reason as to why it's folly to keep endlessly debating on this forum, and not expand your campaign to other forums, and elsewhere on the internet? - because, as you say, "it's clear too many Gooners here believe their acting will make no difference" - so why keep flogging a dead horse then?? expand! publicise!
I'm not trying to have have a go for no reason, I just think you have a decent petition, with reasonable aims, yet for reasons that I can't get to the bottom of (despite trying) I still don't understand your strategy or what's stopping you from publicising your petition/campaign to a wider audience? - everything seems just so vague and confused!
