Sunderland Game and Charlie x2

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ahh so you have met their centre-half from last season.

Honestly, it was like being maked by a supermarket! That man is enormous and should be in a wrestling ring not on a football pitch!

The one decent shot I got in and that chap just stuck out a leg and blocked it. It was like the sun had gone in for a minute there.

With Sky changing the kick off I wonder if they have been able to rearrange the juggernaut to bring him down on?

I reckon I could make it - this may seem good news but you haven't seen me play yet!
I did offer my services as a centre half on page 7 of this thread but it appears I didn't even make the squad of 7 for an 11 a-side match :( .

Perhaps you have seen me play

Just rang the sports place where we played last time and they told me all they have is 1030-1130. Ive told the guy I will ring back later on. Im thinking that 1030 might be a bit early for the sunderland lads. So if your reading this please let me know as I will have to ring back later on. He cant hold the booking for me but I will ring him later whatever

Cheers Chunky

To be fair, the Sunderland lads only picked him after remembering seeing Percy from the previous year and only wanted to even the score in terms of big men at the back!!

10.30 good for us. Our warm up will most likely consist of running down Leyton High Road at 10.28.

Anyone who has put their name down to play and can get to the pitch in Oliver Road in Leyton in E1O for the 1030am kick off will get a game
