Re: Swansea away.
Arteta will be replaced if we start being ambitious again, he really is only a stop gap.
Re: Swansea away.
Who else thought he was gonna miss?
Re: Swansea away.
I think it is the worst defence that we have had since the mid 80's . Dead shaky , a general lack of pace , loads of silly errors , injury prone . Would you seriously put any of the back 5 in any Arsenal team in the last 20 years ?nexum5me wrote:central defensive options on paper aren't bad either, just need better coaching1989 wrote:I'm happy with our full back options. Monreal and Gibbs for left back and Sagna and Jenko for right back is as good as anything out there I reckon.

Re: Swansea away.
Not a great performance for 75-odd mins. Vital win though.
Re: Swansea away.
Finally, Wenger's subs (although late) made the difference here. Both Gervinho and Ramsey ended up forcing the pace of the play. I think that Diaby slowed it right down.

Liverpool lose at Southampton 3-1 = nice!!!
Re: Swansea away.
no, but we've only really "had" 2 back 5's in the last 20 years, 1 of which was probably the best ever, and the other went all season without losing a game! so being worse than them isn't THAT shamefulshu wrote:I think it is the worst defence that we have had since the mid 80's .
