Coquelin signed?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't think there can be any doubts over the Coq blockers ability after that. Manhandled Unite'ds midfield, especially Fellani.

Sign Schneiderlin in the summer and we're set in midfield.

A little bit taller?

I wish he was a baller.......
Do you know if he's got a girl who looks good and he calls her ?
:high5:

Thought this might've been a bit obscure.........

I wonder if he also wishes he had a rabbit in a hat with a bat.
And a six four Impala?

The Soulwax remix with Eye of the tiger is worth checking out
CHOOOOOOON!!! ha ha ha :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

We should get a banner made for Wembley, like we had for Willie Young that said

" We've got the biggest Willie"

but this one would say

"We've got the hardest Coq"

He was absolutely everywhere first half yesterday, tremendous. Then he came out second half and was all over the shop, needlessly gave the ball away in dangerous positions 3 or 4 times.

He was totally at fault for their goal - he got sucked to the ball and allowed them to do a one-two and he made zero effort to chase back

Agreed. But I would add that he is still learning the role and we should expect a couple of howlers until he has it down tight. And the initial signs are mostly good in that respect. I'd also add that Captain Stupid (apparently an experienced DM) still does this (and worse) at every opportunity in every game!! :-P

The Coq is deffo an improvement upon The Stupid - even at this early stage in his DM career with us. 8)

Most DMs seem to get better till their late 20s, and stay playing for some while into their 30s- Im very encouraged, and to get 2 bashes to his nose and keep playing is a record that goes back many years for us

Haven't been on here much recently but if you keep posting I'll have to come back more!

Although to be fair he is going from strength to strength, near faultless today.

best player on the pitch today.

Like alan smith aluded too, a DM who actually feels no need to rush forward and get in on the act! Fantastic.

Top Man.
Why spend £20m+ on another DM? Need Flamini out that goes without saying but I'd rather spend the money on another Centre Half. The BFG has run his course.
Well done Coq. Keep it going son
