As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Eduardo came to Arsenal with a lot of questions about his ability. Once he'd got off the mark he proved his detractors wrong by scoring some scintillating goals and a few of the Plan B one-touch finishes that had been missing from our repetoire.
It's remarkable that after the Taylor assault he even played again. Hopefully the £6 million price tag means that Eddie has recovered physically and last season's loss of form was just in his head (probably reinforced by the 'witchhunt').
Perhaps he's had enough of the Premier League and its 'thugs' who are encouraged by managers to rough up Arsenal.
I admired Eduardo's flair, I admire his spirit and I sincerely wish him all the luck in the future. He deserves to succeed.
Sad to see him go but the best decision all round for Arsenal, Shaktar Donetsk - but most of all Eduardo, Eduardo...
