Germans aren't meant to miss penalties FFS

Re: Bayern Home
ANY professional footballer should be able to score a fucking penalty.gp543 wrote:This. The only other option was Santi and I'm sure Ozil pulled rank on him.Gunner Rob wrote:That embarrassing moment that even when we win a penalty you realise that we have nobody to take them

Re: Bayern Home
If a "penalty" meant string ten pointless passes together rather than a free shot on goal I'd be more confident

Re: Bayern Home
We didn't pay £40 odd million for you to fuck about half-hitting a penalty. Learn to fucking kick a ball properly and justify your place in the team.

Re: Bayern Home
Every single Gooner in the world was thinking the same thing. Just hit it, just hit it properly.
Nobody likes missing a pen but what was he thinking after the Marseille miss? Neuer is far too good and experienced to give himself away and tbh walking up to the ball then trying to pass it down the middle smacked of cowardice.
I know we're missing our two first-choice penalty-takers in Arteta and Giroud but why let Ozil get up there if he takes pens like that? Christ I'd rather let Mertesacker get up there, swing a size 12 at it as hard as he can and pray for the best like TA5 used to.

Re: Bayern Home
Yaya showed the first touch of a rapistvthere .
Gary Neville pointed out that lahm, Goetze and tiago all targeting Gibbs.
Which we all knew would happen
That said - Bayern CBs not happy with Ox and Yaya.
We might just nick one here .

Re: Bayern Home
On a positive note we've got in behind them more times than we have against any team in the last 4 months,
Re: Bayern Home
Outstanding work from yaya to win the ball and play Ox in.
