CL Semis 2nd Leg

Just think we could double Simeone's salary and with the money saved by not giving Wenger a new contract there would be no need to implement the 3% increase in ticket prices next season

If our board have any clue whatsoever, they'd take that contract offer off the table and do everything it takes to bring Simeone in. The best manager in the world and only on 2.5m pa, compared to the 4th place specialist who's on more than double that.
Granted he has done well, but the BEST manager in the world  I love your OTT comments on just about everything, quality

I do hope they go on to win the final, then he will be the best manager in the Universe
I'd like to know who else could have done the job he has done with a budget comparable to West Brom's.

Already won the Europa League, European Super Cup and Copa del Rey with Atletico and is now on the cusp of adding the La Liga and the Champions League to that list.

Stunning manager.

I never had a doubt that ath Madrid would knock the chavs out - simeone has his team playing with real passion but even more importantly than that, he has them well organised. When they take to the pitch they will not surrender to anyone no matter who they are or how much they cost and you gotta respect that.

Simeone is far from the best manager in the world but right now he would bring assets to the table that we badly need. We have footballers aplenty but we have no organisation, no steel/fight and certainly don't have a clue how to grind out results. We desperately need someone to give us (club, players and the fans) back our pride and to instill ambition and a never say die attitude and while simeone might not be the long term answer, right now he would improve us in some real keys areas and that would be progress in my book 8)

Btw, in a one off game, I fancy ath Madrid to beat their neighbours - over two legs I wouldn't be as confident but the pressure will all be on Real Madrid (against their plucky city rivals  ) and these Madrid players have history of bottling it in games like this

That is a strange strange choice of adjective.

Funny enough I wouldn't have minded a Chav Real final, if I were guaranteed the chavs would lose.
It would have been an interesting tactical battle, an where as everyone is saying Atletico and Real will be a spectacle, it could also turn into the "divefest" that is Spanish football, it's not as if to say the chief protagonists won't on show ie Bale, Pepe and Ronaldo to name just a few on the Madrid side.

1989 - did you ever think about getting tested for Bipolar disorder, mate? :rubchin:

Only kidding!

I agree with sid - the final will be appalling to watch, blairts and furburgers diving all over the gaff, fuckers rolling around screaming in "agony" holding imaginary injuries, ref baiting, bitch whining...

But on the positive side Moron-hio, Phone Molester and Terryscum are OUT. Hahahahahahahahahahaha  8)

EUROPEAN LESSON OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS
Atleico are a serious team and I fancy them to win final, they are better set up and Alonso will be a massive loss for Real.
