Dortmund Home Game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

However a draw would have been a fair result. For those 9yo lads who have got excited, come back down to earth. groundhog season starts here.
You really are a condescending *word censored* :D
Yup I'm the man!
.....gina
So none of the AKBs (yourself included) have been condescending in recent weeks? Don't want to get in a twat war with you but honestly nothing has really changed.
Not getting into your little tiff with the AKB's but surely you can't underestimate the effect Flamini has on our team

Off the top of my head its goal difference, goals scored, head to head results, and finally a coin toss. But I'm probably wrong!

AKB.....ME

WTF you been smokin dude, I'll have some of that

I ain't no AKB, I look at both sides of the argument (for and against Wenger) and ask posters to elaborate on their opinion or otherwise known as fact

Devils advocate if you will but deffo not AKB, I've thought Wenger should have gone in 2009 and have always maintained that BUT having said that would love to be proved wrong and for him to win some major trophy.

You on the other hand, pffffffffttttttt.....

I have a vague recollection of not wanting to lose Flamini or Diarra a few years ago, but I haven't worked 30 years in football. Of course he is important, but lets face it he was almost a mistake signing, not a masterstroke.

He's still right. It was naive.

It's head to head between the teams, then goal difference in the matches between the teams level on points, then goals scored in these matches.

I think getting a draw at Dortmund and beating Napoli away is achievable though, but I wouldn't want us to go into the last game needing to beat Napoli away!

i don't think he meant he was 'naive' though.....which is the sad truth.

AW just thought we could turn up and play again, rely on our 'super quality' and play our own game...

footballs gone beyond that. in about 2002 i think.

See the same old people popped out of the woodwork tonight waiting for this result to crop up so they could spout their usual tripe. :blah:
Marginally losing a game against a top class side after being caught chasing the game; no shame in that. Albeit neither team were great tonight and both created very little. Now asking a lot to see us qualify from the group but it should show whether we are up to the challenge and warrant being labelled a top class side. Only time will tell...

Both ends of the extremist spectrum behave like that. The negative nellies love nothing more than adding to the misery of a defeat with a little gloat and likewise the Wenger-can-do-no-wrong clan will spring from everywhere to hail Mr Knows' genius and laugh at those of us who aren't as optimistic.

It's a recipe that keeps the forum on the move. If we were all sat in the middle, the online seesaw would remain stationary... or something like that :?
