So who played well for us ? To look at the sky website it suggested that we played 4-4-2 but that was hardly the case was it ? :o

Am also curious to know how falcao played for them - while some are shooting their load on the exploits of le postman and Campbell, I can only dream of what it would be like to have a proper TOP QUALITY striker for us :( :(
He was rusty didn't look his 50million plus tag. He got the goal but if you don't want to ruin your evening, don't watch the replay of the goal. A 5yr old could have scored it with the time Falcao had. More set piece silliness. Arteta is slow but to blame him for the goal is being silly. A defensive strategy wouldn't have conceded today.

Plus points: Chambers,The Ox,Sanchez,Akpom,Debuchy(looked OK) and Miquel. Seeing the chavs got rinsed by Werder Bremen 3-0, apparently they were really sh*t

Minus points: Go and watch the first 20mins of the FA cup final again for a hint. Monreal,( please Bilbao take him now), Giroud( looked like he was still on holiday),the absence of a DM and Maureen will probably sort those w**kers out before Aug 16th. :(

On your plus points the name alexis sanchez is missing so am I to assume that he wasn't great today ? It will take him time to bed in and we all accept that, but am curious to know how he was used and how he linked up with his team-mates. I have continually said that I don't see le cock using a system that will bring out the best in him (well he hasn't done it for ozil anyway  ) so I do worry about the levels of frustration lying ahead

Topgoon feels Augie should book in for a sight test, you blind bast*rd

On a serious note though, Sanchez looked much better when Olivier parked his lumbering behind on the subs bench and Alexis moved up front.
If we can get a big unit or at least a clever one DM, our best line up next season will be Sanchez up front flanked by The Ox or Walcott on the right and Poldi on the left with Ozil or Cazorla in the no10 role

Paused the replay at the moment he struck the free-kick and our shape is horrendous. 3 players at the back post have dropped unnecessarily deep and 3 players at the front have held a high line. Absolutely embarrassing defending, it's set piece defending 101. I know Mertesacker isn't playing but surely somebody else has to take responsibility to ensure that players are holding the line until it's struck or dropping deep as a unit just before.

Today doesn't mean we're a bad team just like yesterday doesn't mean we're a great one. But the set pieces look a real worry.

Spot on assessement. I thought the Ox looked sharp in both games and I'd have liked to have seen more of Akpom, He looked quick and really strong.

Does Topgoon realize Falcao's just returned from an ACL injury?

I'd expect him to be rusty considering he's been out 6 months.

Jenko gave away a pen and came off injured for them yesterday. Great debut.

Apparently he was an unmitigated disaster.

Feel really, really sorry for him - it's bad enough feeling squeezed out of the club you have loved all your life, but when you then have to go play for a fat anti-football walrus like that think c*nt is, then you couldn't help but drown in despair :(

As a town/city maybe, but at least bruce encourages his teams to play football as opposed to the fat walrus c*nt who is still stuck in the "up and at em" style football
