What was he meant to do, sell them at their market price of 1986 or whenever he first got them?

I cannot see how anyone begrudges Dein selling his shares in the club at the market value after he was forced out.

We all love Arsenal but can we honestly say that we wouldn't do the same?
Surnames? Bit childish. But whatever...

I have no problem with him selling them. Makes no difference to me.

My point is though, that people are slating the board for possibly doing the same thing sometime in the future maybe possibly...

Without any evidence that they will do so. Maybe they will, maybe they won't... I don't know.

A tad hypocritical, no?

Surnames, childish? Who was it calling me Fancytart only the other day?

With regards to the shares I have no problem with the current board selling theirs at the market value at all.

What I do take exception to, or will if it happens, is the board failing to invest in the playing side in an effort to keep the club as cash rich as possible and so hiking the selling price.

Agreed. But there is still no actual evidence of them planning to do it. As I say maybe they will, but there is no proof of that at present.

Surnames usually denotes being angry with someone... are you angry Percy/Gus..? :?

ESPN were showing the 2003-04 season the other night. When we won it a the Shithole I'd forgotten how fucking brilliant that first goal was when we scored from their corner!! Next time you see it. look at the speed of Vieira to get from our box to theirs to be on the end of Dennis's cross.

That goal just summed up everything AFC were at that time. Henry to Dennis to Vieira. Just orgasmic football.

If he's on a free or cheap, I'd have him back. A lot of youngsters might learn a thing or two from him which can't be a bad thing

That was the past and so is PV4 according to Radford, he cannot understand why on earth Arsenal should go back to a player who will be availiable after two/three injury prone years.

I agree to a certain extent but in January we all know that major purchases (Arshavin excepted) rarely happen so if it's not gonna break the bank and he can be a valuable squad player and help the other lads then I'd do it. Just don't think there'd be many downsides

Radford's downsides in relation to PV4.

1. old

2. injury prone

3. fucked us about for too many years

4. not up to speed with the pace of the league

5. wages (way in excess of his current ability)

6. staying at inter until end of season

7. this is not his Arsenal (it's the song era)

8. Arsenal need to look forward NOT back

9. we don't take old inter rejects

10. keep the faith AW does
