Augie you are my favourite miserable ole bastard, but you are being a bit harsh here mate. If Nani hadn't strolled past 4 other useless *word censored* like they weren't there he would never have been exposed in the first place.
Had he been further back and Nani had slammed it in the near post we'd all be going mad about that too.

I don't like him but I'm being fair to him here.

Remember how fucking low we all felt when ManUre made it 2-0 at the Grove in the CL last season?... well, I feel as low as that. Gutted. Pissed off. Resigned.

Shit fucking shit.

:( :(

PS - want to see Rooney's goal again, as it looked to me like Denilson's pursuit of him was fucking woeful, just like for Stoke's goal last Sunday.

:( :(
true, and i thought we played better today
I noticed in interview, Wenger used the word NAIVE a couple of times, and I thought that summed it up pretty well.

We played like a bunch of five year olds... all heart and effort, but fuck all tactical awareness, and piss poor positioning. They just picked us off :( :(

The game was far too open, but that's how we play so what can you do? :(

Bollocks,Almunia is shit and gave me my worst footballing moment when he let in at the near post in the CL final 06

The most gutting game i have ever been to ...and he was never forgiven for that and never will be :banghead:

Id like to try Song at CB and move TV into center midfield. Or play Sol and Gallas at the back with Song, TV and cesc in midfield.

Just a thought

Unfortunately today we were shown exactly what we are. A good side with too many average players preventing us become a great one. Simply out classed and out battled.

Well, if we beat Chelsea next week and then.....

Ah, fuck it. We're dooooooomed! :( :(
Mate, that's not going to happen as long as Denilson and Almunia are playing...even if we win ( a big if), we are still 5 points behind Chelsea assuming that Chelsea get 3 points in the mid-week...

Basically the season is over. More sad is that we were totally out-classed today :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Watch his positioning on 2 crosses that went across our 6 yd box before they ever scored - he has zero concept of positioning, angles or controlling his area

MM99 nobody here is gloating at having the gulf in quality exploited and highlighted as it was today so there is no point trying to pick a row with spuddy over what he said. The sad fact, a fact that you appear unwilling to accept, is that we are nowhere near as close to glory as arsene and his pr boys at the club will lead you to believe :( We have an absolutely shite keeper, a 35 year old back up at centre back, more wilting flowers in our midfield than there are in the dutch poppy fields and we have a 5ft 6" centre forward with our only redemption coming from a danish beanpole who thinks he is pele but his goals stats suggest his is more like that of a striker for a mid to bottom table club - oh and I havent forgotten usain bolt, our english wonderboy ( ), who yet again today showed that he has really mastered the skill of running full pelt at an opposing player only to then leave the fcuking ball behind him  :banghead:

Face it man we are at least 3-4 quality signings from winning anything again
Augie - I've noticed that you cop a lot of flak on here. But that paragraph is spot on as usual, especially the bit about the Club's PR.

None of us want to see Arsenal being steam-rollered by Man Ure and the Chavs over and over again but that is what is happening and so many fans refuse to accept what is patently obvious.

I can accept losing. I can accept an opponent being better than us - Rooney was quality today as was Ronaldo in May. I can accept quality players preferring to sign for other clubs. But what I can't accept is the bullshit that the Club spout and the lack of effort by several of our highly paid players. It strikes me that they are just getting richer and richer and becoming more and more detached from reality.

Given the amount of money the Club demand to watch Arsenal - we deserve so much better.

To be fair 5 points is catchable this season, it seems a lot more teams are capable of getting a result against Man u and Chelsea (and do they still have to play each other?)

If we beat Chelsea and Lpool, then we're back in the race...

The problem is beating Chelsea and Lpool.
