the 2nd one is that i'm taking my dad to only his 2nd visit to the emirates for the partizan game (used to take me to highbury when i was young but sort of stopped going when i could afford to take myself) and now it looks like he'll get to see the actual 1st team play rather than a reserve/youth 11

If you are serious about winning the CL then you should be breezing the group stage, then again if you have any serious ambitions about winning it then you have to beat the best so you might as well get in about it like 2006 when we had tough rounds against Juve and Real Madrid, Villareal before playing Barca in the final.

Looking at upcoming games unless we get a good win soon, 4-5 goals Wigan in the cup, we could drop alot of points in the rest of November and December if we go on a bad run for a few games.

That's rubbish mate, that was not a reserve team. That was as close to a full side we could play, maybe putting back in Nasri.

The rest were either shit for the last month, injured or rested.
