Braga away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

1-0 home win. This team has no bottle and is shit away from home especially in this competition.

After today and Easyjet cancelling my flight home wednesday due to strike, so an extra day in Porto YES f,ing Porto as if ive not spent enough rainy days there in the past few years.

Seriously might not bother going and paint my kitchen instead ?

Cant give a toss about result, we should have played a strong team in Donetsk and won the group.

maybe my mood will change before a flight from gatwick monday ?????

Will be there & fighting with the trade unions to get home on Thursday! Absolutely no idea what to expect as with pretty much every game this season. We could easily win 5-0 or we could easily lose 5-0 :banghead:

right so this match is my only positive note to take from this weekend. today was an absolute fucking horror show and made worse by being in my local full of **** who miraculously appeared out of the woodwork. never see them there ever in the week/any other time. tossers.

regardless, this holiday away is all i have to somehow try to get me through. anyone else looking forward to this? i'm flying into porto on monday and hopefully flying back on thursday. if anyone fancies a drink let me know. i'm gonna be asking elsewhere as well.

tbh, i reckon we will find this tough. i'd be surprised with a win to be honest.

good luck to all who's going - the players BETTER come over to yous at the end after the shambles of today (regardless of the result next week).

fact is we've lost 3 at home cos our noise/atmosphere doesn't make it a home game for the players (when the opp is true when we play away)

Don't make me laugh. Our home atmosphere has been shit for years and they didn't have much trouble winning at the Grove till now. Stop blaming the fans.

I can see a really poor game ending with a narrow victory for us - a bit of a Wolves away performance

Then we'll hear all the old soundbites about "our great consistency in the CL", "only one other team has got through the Group stage every year for 10 years", "great reaction to the disappointment", "mental strength".

We'll then beat Villa 0-1......everyone with half a brain (Louder can you hear me ?) will say how ungrateful we all are and how we're getting closer, and the GIC is a hero and there's no other man for the job.....

Then Fulham will beat us 0-1 at the bowl and claim their first away win since Johnny Haynes' day.....

The atmosphere in the first half today was superb, all standing from the whole north bank lower and most of the clock end too. Tried to do our best but they didn't do their bit
