We're allowed to question the direction of the club, but players aren't?
I'm still hopeful he stays, and in the absence of any real proof - I for one will refrain from all this judas nonsense. He's got every right to question whether he should stay or not - it's his career and, as far as I'm aware, he's obeyed the rules of his contract.
We demand loyalty from players, yet many fans turn on players and abuse them with little proof of their wrongdoings... it's twisted.

I second that.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:I'm disgusted.

This. And if they have a concern they can fucking well tell Wenger in private? If you're fucked off with your job do you mouth off to the nearest journo? Do you fuck.DUFFMAN wrote:

I dont mind players questioning the direction of the club except in this case where I feel that there are 2 exceptions -
1. He is looking for big money and parity with cesc - if it is about the club's ambition then fine but dont make it about the money as well cos that makes it look that you are willing to sell your beliefs for a few dollars more so it is either about money or ambition.....cant be both imo
2. Nasri should be having a severe look at himself when it comes to why the club is winning fcuk all - he had a great first 3 months to last season but then, as has often proved to be the case since he arrived, he went missing

Exactly. Nasri clearly has greater ambition than the club and like us bitterly disappointed at the way things have been going in the last few seasons.MK Gould wrote:Maybe we should wait to see if it happens first...... Why wouldn't he want to bail out if he he is fed up with repeated failure.
He is one of our best players by some distance and a great loss if he does go.
I don't see how AW is going to get out of this situation which now looks worse than ever.
Other top teams are buying big and will be slip behind.
Ashley Young only has one year left on his deal and is supposedly going for no less than £16m. I like Young, but with Nasri's reputation....FFS he was a player of the year contender......if Arsenal can not secure at least an equivalent fee, then Gazidis and his commercial wankers should be put in the stocks before the first home game of the season.gunner_ace wrote:10 mill??? fuck off you cheeky munchin c**ts. Even with 1 year left on the contract he must be worth double at least. especially if cahill's been touted round at £17m with a year left too.
So if rumours are to be believed - and I don't often believe them, but with Gazidis the appalling track record makes it quite conceivable, we could:
Lose Clichy for £5m
Lose Nasri for around £10m
Eventually buckle and flog our captain for a couple of Barca fringe players and around £20-£25m
Good luck improving the squad once those 3 have left and we have £40m to do it with (plus a couple of never will be's from the card waving cheats)
