ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't follow European football but is the choice of Sesko or Gyokeres it?

Is there no one else out there, just these two, who it appears the jury is out on both.

Surely we are searching night and day for super, super qualidee? :rubchin:
Osimhen is there for the taking, but we seem to be ignoring him. He’d be my pick.

And mine too but I suspect his character would terrify the cone boy - he likes nice "yes boss" players and has been unable to handle players with character in the past, so that might explain things as why osimhen is not on our radar now

Hence why I can accept people opposing signing gyokores if playing in portugese league is an issue or scoring penalties is an issue, but FFS sesko is a 13 or 14 goals a season striker and we have a german c.unt who can do that as it is   If we need a striker from a reputable league then sign joao pedro from brighton, but again I will point to the fact that the portugese ladyboy and dias at citeeh both came to premier league from same portugese pub league and they werent too bad were they ?

Maybe we should push with cheeky bid for kane :rubchin:
I thought you of all people fresh with a serious dose of Fabio Vieira PTSD would run a mile from the Portuguese farmers league.

Scored a hat trick against City, this season.

Naturally, each transfer is a risk but we cannot afford to get this one wrong.
2 were penalties though. Now there’s nothing wrong with penalty goals but we were only awarded a penalty in 1 out of the 38 league games this season. Serious banter.

He ain’t getting no penalties here.
Very good point. You can strip out all of his pens. I reckon he would score 15-18 for us. Tops.
Does Sesko do better, in your opinion?
Sesko to me looks raw. Will eventually be a top player. Personally I would sign Sesko and Delap. So at least you have options. Two different styles of striker. I really rate Delap.
Delap is going to Chelsea

Everybody loves a shiny new signing but the best part of every summer for me is the sound of the splash as another turd drops into the bowl.

If square head fucks off we will be in poo w.ank territory (one for the golden oldies on here :barscarf: )

All this talk of who we sign out of Sesko and Gyokeres. I suggest going to YouTube and finding the videos that someone compiled of each players last 80 shots they had taken.

Sesko has missed some absolutely terrible chances. Numerous one on ones blundered and simple chances fluffed.

For me it’s Victor all day long.

Also, looks like Zubimendi isn’t quite as cut and dried as the BBC, Ornstein, and Romano would have us believe.

The owner of his current club has said they want to keep him, and have told him to go and play the international games over the next couple of weeks, before deciding what he wants to do.

Exactly what happened last season with Liverpool, when he decided to stay in Spain.

With our Transfer team, it will be neither. Instead, we will have a fully restored, rejuvenated Havertz showing numbers in training like you have never seen.

Just checking in, are we still going about our business or lack of as the most cringeworthy embarrassing club out there.

Anyone’s release clause been met by £1 over the odds?

We're not even meeting release clauses. Just waiting to see who the chavs or cheaty don't want come the end of August.

Fingers crossed we can get sterling on a permanent deal, I hear he provides a real boost to morale and has an excellent dressing room playlist on match days
