Sad news re Charlie! Charlie!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Very weird not talking to Charlie before, during and after the game today.

Steve's girlfriend has just called me to apologise for logging in under his forum log in, she was wanting to read the messages and never meant to upset anyone.

Sam, you do not have to apologise for anything and our thoughts are with you and your beautiful girls.

Sam,(I am only using her name as "Mutley" has), has no reason to apologise at all! In fact, if she,or any other members of her family wish to use the "Charlie,Charlie" log on,they should feel free to do so.It would be another small, but fitting, tribute to Steve, and would be a way for them to connect with people who either knew him,or had/have an effinity with him.

Likewise, I didnt know him but clearly he was well thought of on the forum. I join everyone in wishing his family my very best. having just recently had my first child, things like this make me think more than they used to. I couldnt bear to not see him grow up. I am sure his daughters will grow up to make him very proud.

As I say, my deepest sympathy to his family.

David

Is there enough in the pot to pay for a floral tribute?

If so, I'd like to suggest that the card should read something like "From fellow Gooners" rather than "From fellow online Gooners".

Just a thought.
