Sad news re Charlie! Charlie!

Post by onemoreminute »

Just thought i would come on here and let those who know Steve, aka Charlie Charlie, that i have been up the hospital all afternoon at his bedside.
Unfortunately he has suffered a massive tumour on the brain and Tuesday they operated and removed 70% but have confirmed this afternoon that it is too aggresive, he is in intensive care as i type.
They confirmed that even if a miracle happens and he comes round he wouldnt survive longer than 6 months max.
I am meeting his Dad and sister up the hospital tomorrow which is when i beleive the decision will be taken to turn off his life support machine.
I have tears streaming down my face as i type this as he is my best mate of over 20 years, i am absolutely devastated.
seeing him laying there with tubes in his mouth and nose was the hardest thing i have ever witnessed and will never leave me.
I will come on here with an update over the next day or so, but please spare a thought for the big man tonight

Jesus that is just awful

Keep the faith all the same - he was your friend and you were his friend and that he knows that even now and don't you ever forget that

Stay strong man - you're in our thoughts and prayers as well as Charlie Charlie - Steve - and his family are too...

I have just heard this terrible news and I am in tears knowing that I am going to lose a fantastic mate.

Steve (Charlie) is one of the most wonderful, loyal and kind mates a guy can ever have and his partner and kids are going to lose a great guy and dad!

Thinking of you Stevie!
