it's quite embarressing really that it was left so late to make this announcement. not that i should, but i feel for Boltons travelling support on a midweek evening fixture. what a waste of time and money, they've had even more snow up there.
For me - i turned down work today maybe i should invoice AFC fora days wages lost

I don't disagre with you.

Was just pointing out how bad it is in the area compared to where I work.

I know!

I feel sorry for the Bolton fan and all those who have travelled. I bet Arsenal thought it would be okay and it was this morning. Even by lunchtime it was okay but by then it really had past the point of no-return.

True Boomer it was fine but everyone who knows about these kind of things said the worst was to come etc.

I just think the lack of foresight reflects badly on the club!

The roads around the ground are fine and for the club to say
the sudden and unpredicted adverse change in weather conditions in the Highbury area has left us no choice but to postpone the fixture.
is a fucking joke. How was this unpredicted the club and council should have got together and made sure that the game went ahead especially as all the tubes are running a normal service :banghead:

Seeing as this snow was forecast perhaps the club should have reached this decision earlier rather than holding out until the last?

If it went ahead it would be ok for you fans who live walking distance from the ground but not us who live that bit further away........

I like the way they say Highbury..... :barscarf:

Boomer - thats £35 for my seat please. 8)

it's stopped snowing here as well so all is ok.

Apart from the foot of snow on the ground, the impassable roads (unless you have a 4x4) and all the cancelled mainline trains. This being before it freezes tonight and turns the place into a complete ice rink.

They should have made the call to postpone much earlier.
