As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And the good thing about Frimpong, he will talk about it on Twitter
But Nasri will go on to win a title and Frimpong will be out on loan to Palace in january thats the truth

Hmm... I'm not sure giving game time to some young players of the future is any sort of consolation for our hopes of silverware being extinguished even further
Failure is becoming a nasty habit at the Arsenal
How many big cup games have we played well in but ended up losing? - it's become the norm, I'm afraid. I honestly don't think the players believe they'll win any more, either I really don't.
I'm sure that if you cracked open many of our players, you'd find the words 'failure' written right the way through them just like a stick of rock! - I just think they've been around the place so long that the weight of recent failures has rubbed off on them all, and no matter how well we play, we'll always find a way to lose.
Birmingham in the cup final summed it up for me. We could't beat an egg if there was a trophy at stake! - yet, instead of creating a winning culture by winning ANY trophy, we'd rather rest some big names, leave other perfectly fit and healthy first teamers on the bench, and instead priorities giving game time to youngsters - I don't get what we're trying to achieve any more, I really don't.
We're achieving record turnover/profits mate. Was always the objective. It made the directors rich people, and will see cuntface kroenke bag a tidy sum too. At what point afetr we've paid for the stadium will he sell up?
Dont you guys feel that in order to make tippy tappy effective you must be ruthless with your finshing.
From Thierry Henry to Adebayor to Bendtner to Chamakh.
Its got worse and worse, and we've ended up with someone who clearly isn't a striker. I know chamakh was very good with his head, but have you seen him try and use his feet??
I commend Arsene for getting Eduardo, because he saw that all this passing coaching is wasted by not having someone who loves to stick the ball in. But we sold him and replaced with whom?
We've seen what a ruthless RVP can do in a team who create less chances than the one with Cesc in it. But to have one striker in the squad is negligent!
Good strikers dont come cheap Rooney Suarez and Aguero all cost over £25m.Wenger will never pay that for a striker or any player.Chamakh and Park cost £2m between them and that was £2m too much.
Was looking forward to seeing the Ox tonight and he didnt disappoint. Neither did any of the younger players for that matter- Frimpong and Coquelin were excellent I felt.
Its actually the likes of Chamakh that I was extremely disappointed with. Park wasnt great either but he is new to the team- Chamakh doesnt have that excuse.
It was the same old same old from the Arse tonight. Some nice play but a lack of a direct goal threat that RVP gives us.
City played a weakened team tonight that I felt if we'd gone for a bit more we could have turned over and given ourselves a shot at a trophy.
As it stands we only have the FA Cup as a long shot for a trophy now.
To sum up
Delighted with the performance of our younger players- Oxtail soup looks a real threat and Frimpong and Coquelin did a great job in the midfield.
Angry that Park and Chamakh as 2 more experienced players did not support the efforts of our youngsters and couldnt muster any sort of threat to the City goal.

So what? I'd take a player with heart and passion for the club (Frimpong) anyday. At least with guys like Frimpong, you can get behind the team and be proud to watch them, unlike mercenaries like Nasri and the rest of $ity's motley crew. Go buy your fucking trophy with Shiekh money City. At least our club will always have its history and pride.
It's a rarer and rarer treat to see players who honestly care about a club these days, and we have several in our squad who bleed Arsenal. I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can, titles or not.
Have to agree, how much stick did Nasri used to get on here for not showing up away and hiding? So what if he wins the league, would you rather he stayed so we could continue to moan about his lack of effort or get behind those like Frimpong who obviously gives a shit? If you would rather have Nasri because you think he's quality even though his application wasn't the best then your attitude is as much a slave to the mercenary as they are to the pound.

We have too multi-billionares as our two biggest share holders. We could go out and buy quality players and pay them big wages.Yet we buy shite like Chamakh and Park. And thats why are best players leave.

But we're not after a first choice, as Van Persie (who cost something like £2-3m) has scored 30-odd goals in 2011.
You can't expect Wenger to sign a top quality striker of that level - and at the price you're quoting - to play backup to Van Persie.... we're not Citeh!
