Considering we'll let reserve and youth players have a run, City will rip us to bits.

My prediction 3-0 to them. :banghead:

This game will be a write off- I dont see why we shouldnt just go for it though. I mean if we play like we have just played against Fulham we will get pumped anyway

As this is probably the only trophy we have a chance of winning I say we go for it and rest people against Wigan.

I agree with Chippy but Arsene won't... 4th place is a trophy in itself!!

Just hope this game doesn't destroy the confidence of a whole generation of young arsenal players.

I'd say that we'll have to see a number of youth and "fringe" players in both sides since city have pool away tomorrow. Don't really understand the talk about going for it and not resting people. We played 9 of our first choice 11 today and almost all looked sluggish as shit so why would we want to play them again. Not saying we should just let the kids play but it should be a mix of experience and youth.

with a frontline of Arshavin, Chamakh and Park - City will be shitting themselves

our only hope is Aguero, Silva, Kompany and co stay at home and Franny Lee, Colin Bell, Rodney Marsh, Shaun Goater and Steve Lomax run out on to the pitch

We'll lose and all will be gloomy in the Wenger shed.

Hmmm, yeah I guess. But then of course, City's "fringe" is better than our first eleven.

Really worried about this game.

Wenger has already said he'll make changes (as some players are physically "on the edge") whereas, even if Citeh do make changes, they'll still have a strong team full of international players. :?

It's at the Grove, so that might help - but I really think Wenger has to be careful here, as the domestic cups represent our only realistic chance of silverware so to throw that away, by making wholesale changes, would be a big disappointment... even if it is only the beer cup :(
