MOTM Ramsey again. I hope he keeps it up. Definite starter over jack or arteta for the same position.
Flamini is a 100% starter for me. Beast mode.
Ozil looked world class, so smooth, never gives the ball away.
Giroud good performance again, passing and shooting.
Walcott almost cost us 3 points.
Sagna and Kos I though played reasonably well. That was a soft pen, watch the replay.
Wilshire played well in the first half, worse in the 2nd.

Let's cross fingers and hope Giroud is okay. Champions league game looks iffy.

And FUCK zonal marking. Absolute shit.

Excellent first half with Ozil pulling the strings but Walcott was shit. And it nearly cost us in the 2nd half.We just didnt come out in the 2nd half.Ramsey two brilliant goals and Flamini and Sagna were superb

But we wont get away with sloopy finishing and defending against the big boys

I think this was pay back though for the villa game where the ref let villa play the advantage which they fluffed then pulled it back for a pen, karma :barscarf:

I've only just logged on because I was so unhappy with our display. We were very lucky. Some good moments, but Jack, Ramsey and a few others give the ball away too often. We look physically weak, especially at the back and we seem to have forgotten that you're more likely to score if you have the occasional shot.
I'm delighted we won, but the squad still looks threadbare and unbalanced.

Talk about a game of 2 halves.

1st half Dozy Altidore was a nuscance but ultimately contained and we worked well on the counter at pace, Ozil picking out Walnutt at will and OG with a class goal.

2nd hald, brain fart, completely disorganised in defence, giving the ball away and suddenly Dozy has become Dogbreath and is bullying the defence and holding the ball.

All because Kos does his usual sh*t of going to ground too f**king quckly, how hard is it to stay on your feet in the area. He stands up, he gives Johnson a decision to make in trying to score a goal from a ridiculously tight angle. Johnson we know can't go down quickly enough at the best of times(almost as bad as that other cheat Young).

It's basic bloody defending and it suddenly leads to calamity in the team's performance. Don't think Rambo did too badly,Jack's still not there yet and if Mikel was fit I doubt he'd have been playing.

Someone needs to have a word with Kos as I still think he's decent defender that's prone to bouts of stupidity. Walnutt's been crap since the summer, the Walnutt from last season would have gotten a hat trick today and we'd have cruised.

Hope OG's subbing at the end doesn't keep him out at all as Akpom is way too young to be leading our line and Barry's too f**king fat

Should have bought that defender and striker in the window like we all wanted Arsene :rubchin:

I agree with all of that - i'd add Jenko though. worked hard, got forward and made the cross for the all important second which was a lovely delivery.

the problem with the current formation is that it still doesn't protect the back four enough - walcott doesn't track back, and both jack and ramsey want to go forward. Flam is a big help but Jack has either got to play deeper and be his enforcer buddy like petit & vieira and edu & Giberto or be dropped.

can anyone remember when we last scored from a Sagna cross too ?
