defensive set pieces/aerial = shit as per usual. getting bored of saying it.

apart from that it was a good performance. Arshavin seemed a bit more lively for a change.

Yeah, the 3 behind Chamakh was much more fluid than usual. Not sure if it was down to having more license to find space or just that Villa gave us so much of it but Arshavin was looking to get involved 10x more than usual, even when he was on the left. Not to go all anti-Cesc but we do have a tendency to always go through him when he's playing & with him always taking up the central position in the 3 Arshavin seems to confine himself to hugging the touchline. It can all get a bit formulaic & easy to read. Today we had a lot more movement in the final third & were much less predictable.
