I was thinking the same. Teta and board have tempted fate and may not see CL football next season.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 7:19 pmHeld off signing players in January so as not to compromise the summer targets.Limerick Gooner wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 7:13 pmWe will collapse from here. He's done a decent job turning us from an absolute joke, to a team that should have won at least one title.
The danger is, if he's allowed to carry on we will be back where we were when he took over.
I think PSV will dump us from clge, simply because they have striker options.
He has to go , he doesnt deserve anothe crack at it.

Pathetic and predictable
I don't think we've won 4 league games on the bounce all season..hardly surprising when we've got a beige novice in the dugout..Look at the subs today..Fucking horrendous..4 subs made..3 full backs and Fatty Sterling
Usually when these fannies lose a bunch of other shite results follow..Forest will pump us up the shite box midweek aswell and probably PSV after that..

Even if we beat PSV we face either Madrid team (probably Real) so we're out then.Sid33 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 8:05 pmHe's done a decent job turning us from an absolute joke, to a team that should have won at least one title.

The board won't sack him, look how long they stuck with TOF, even when obvious he was losing the plot.
All they care about is CL participation, I think they've undone any goodwill built up over the last 2-3yrs so expectations for this summer are sky high or it'll be KSE out trending again, not that it matters, these fvckers ain't going anywhere.
Just like 2011 again... yawn

So true. Nutty of this parish perfect example and doesn't really care about what happens on the pitch so won't criticise the manager .Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 4:01 pmMost of the crowd there these days are only there for the beers, pre match food, buying merchandise and to catch up with friends. The fact the home crowd aren’t even on their backs is just horrible, wonga level apathy to a horror show 45 minutes.
Knew this result would happen.
Again ohdergaard is a villa level player, our supposed creative force and laughable captain never makes a difference.
Rice is always crap against them, doesn't try. He's clearly not what we hoped. He's a decent midfielder not a 100m in a million years how many games has he dominated and turned around or won for us on his own? I'm not talking last min goals vs Luton or United I mean running the show. Would be a mere cog at city.
As for the performance verbally no idea me is surprised the manager flogs the players same thing happens and the squad is grossly unbalanced despite a billion quid spent nearly.
He is tactically inept and cannot change a game I'm done.
We will never win a major trophy with him in charge. Never.
We need a competent manager.
Conte, ancellotti, klopp FFS, someone who has pedigree of doing it.

Thing is he's not a novice any longer. So he doesn't have that to shield him. He's learnt or failed to on the job here. It's a fucking disgrace that helmet hair has been allowed to serve his time at a club the size of oursthe playing mantis wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 9:15 pmThing is he's not a novice any longer. Elbow contact to the head by Kudus before the MLS red card. Probably wouldn't have made a jot of difference to the result, but again VAR didn't review the full play

The philosophical flaw with modern day officials strikes again. They go looking for reasons to send a player off instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt and making every effort to keep 11players on the pitch.Natural Born Gooner wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 1:00 amElbow contact to the head by Kudus before the MLS red card. They chose not to intervene at Wolves and went with the on-field decision because it suited them but this time around they had to intervene. In both instances, they ensured the worst punishment was given and this is their overriding motivation.
Re: West Ham murdering filth H Sat Feb 22nd KO 3pm
One week Howard Pleb says 'we don't want to re-referee' games with VAR then the next week you see exactly that in multiple games. PGMOL is a joke.
Playing like City did 5 years ago is not the answer. Possession and controlling a game by keeping the ball wins fuck all. Arteta has reverted to what Pep did back then thinking it'll work again?? Some people say Arteta is 'generational', special..........he's done well getting Arsenal to a level, spending money just doesn't work on it's own, just look at United, but it really looks like Arteta does not have what it takes to get over the line and he's now regressing. It's not exaggeration to say finishing in the top 4 is going to be a tough battle this season. We've just struggled to beat a Leicester team who are one of the worst PL teams in the last 20 years and we've now lost at home to a West Ham side who had lost 5 out of 6 and conceded 47 goals this season! Forest will probably do us 3-0 and United must be licking their lips with us coming to town soon!

Just as numb to the whole thing now as I was 10 years ago
A manager making the same mistakes. A never ending project that is permanently 2 players away from completion. Losers mentality and weak mindset, led by a pussy of a captain. Boring slow sideways tip tap. Hate being back in the boring CL. No chance of winning the PL
Just a massive yawn. Different characters, same script
Checked out of the season at about the same time too.

Needs to be a serious discussion about how shit Calafiori is defensively too. He was shocking yesterday. Bloke can’t defend and has zero pace (not to mention being injury prone). Another disaster signing and another fucking full back

Re: West Ham murdering filth H Sat Feb 22nd KO 3pm
Totally agree Rodders, Arteta needs to try to turn him into a midfielder because he can't play in defence, shockingly slow.
Re: West Ham murdering filth H Sat Feb 22nd KO 3pm
Fuck ! & Scum win too -
