Goalkeeper - Lehmann 07-08 a few dodgy performances - benched deservedly to get his head straight - never got a chance to prove himself again - wasn't a yes man and openly questioned the manager. Then Almunia the clown given the honour of playing in goal for The Arsenal - previous to this we had from 1963 to Lehmann - Wilson, Rimmer, Big Pat, Lukic and Seaman. The clown was given chance, after chance, after chance, after chance and was given the captains armband to boot. Then we had Flapianski who was also given chance after chance - Shay Given came available - wasn't needed. Chesney then got into the team via injuries and was looking promising but was mismanaged and got too big for his boots knowing there was fuck all competition. Ospina - very good no 2 - well done Arsene. Happy with the Cech signing but no credit to AW coz he virtually came gift wrapped and only for Abramovich we wouldn't have him coz no club with ambition would strengthen a rival  . We still managed to drag out the transfer to the point of when it was announced I was like did we not sign him last month.

Leftback - Everything done on the cheap. Spend £6 million on Santos one year, £8 million on Monreal (while I do like him) the next - we'd have got Baines for both fees combined with maybe the wages paid to Fatstos while he literally ate himself silly picking up what most of us earn in a year in a week. Or else maybe just keep the best left back in the world that we had - by giving him the £5k a week extra he was promised. Yes folks we reneged on giving (while - yes he now is C.untley Cole) a £250,000 rise per year and yet we have seen the likes of Super Nic, Diaby, Rosicky, Eboue, Arteta, Denilson, Squillachi, Arshavin and plenty of others picking up wages for doing nowt because no-one else will take them off our hands coz they were being overpaid and ran down their contracts accordingly.

Centrebacks - Squiddy another given the precious Arsenal armband after five games, Photofit head Sylvestre, The Big German Vagina (who'll no doubt get the armband this year) examples of the cheap - trying to lowball Bolton twice for Cahill (while he is no McLintock, O'Leary, Adams, Bould, Keown, Campbell) he's certainly better than these other shites.

Rightback - Comedy Eboue nuff said

Tomorrow I'll do the midfielders and the fact that letting PV4 go has got to be the biggest fuck up in the history of all his fuck ups

Per is a leader? Converting a unproven holding midfielder into a central defender and then giving him half a season to prove he can be that central defender? What fucking planet or tablets is Wenger on..
Surgeons say Per's operation wasn't a success. Even though he was under anaesthetic his extra senses recognised the imminent danger of the surgeon's scalpel and the big German ducked and avoided contact with the scalpel.
The doctor said he has never witnessed cowardice under anaesthetic before..

'There just isn't the quality available'................

Yes, he has actually come out and said it now that 20 - 30 top quality players have signed for other clubs this window. Why do the media let him get away with these things? Arsenal's (free) media lunches must be the best in the world!! :banghead:

'We must sign the right player = we must not pay the going rate for top quality'. Kim Jung Wonga, Gazidis, Kranky.........I can't actually say what I want to happen to you!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Laughable how Wenger claims Mertesacker is a 'leader'.

Never seen a central defender duck out of or turn his back on so many challenges. I know I grew up watching Tony Adams, but Mertesacker wouldn't inspire me on the pitch with his 'bravery'. What is worse, he gets beaten to so many high crosses because he doesn't even bother to jump!

As for Bielek at centre back, well, this just makes the team look even more like Wenger's plaything. He himself even acknowledges in the interview that he could make costly mistakes!

He has also referred to BFV as a 'heavyweight' - I always wondered why a so called athlete took so long to turn and run - except for when he is dodging out of the way of shots from the opposition.

I also read a quote from Coq saying that he's enjoying practicing at CB and is ready to fill BFGs place.

Anyone else fancy a go? Bouldy could dig his boots out, or maybe Santi could try. It's fucking embarrassing.

Per seemed like a quality player at the start. He looked awkward, but was always commited, but as time has gone on, he has gotten worse and worse. I wouldn't usually judge a player, based on one incident, but he proved what a coward he was, when he ducked in that game against L'pool two years ago. Would any other manager have accepted that? Can you imagine a player doing that under Mourinho, and still finding himself in the team, no chance.

If we won't pay 40m for Lacazette, I can't see us paying 50m for Icardi.
However I could see us paying 15m for Evans as that is more Wenger's price range
