yeah we were quality for about 70 minutes and then i think the realisation of how bad we were playing set in and it quietened down a bit . . the second view is quality it was fucking noisy when that one was going around. Shame the players didnt share our passion!

i agree as you can see by the videos, the fans were quality yesterday. the most disappointing thing IMO is that 1. we conceded from a set piece again(it was our captain marking him) any set pieces, long balls we cant deal with. whats most annoying is wenger mentioned this as a problem in the shareholders Q&A yet to combat the problem goes and buys a CB in silvestre who i dont think is a lot taller than gallas or toure. wenger tracked kompany for a while and then man city get him for what i read was £6.7m. what a bargain buy that would of been for us. 22, young CL experince, tall. 2. we had a whole half to pull it back and our 2nd string midfield couldnt unlock the door of FULHAMS DEFENCE. this is the fulham that hull scored twice against last week and came from behind to win the game. the fact we have only scored 1 goal in two games against west brom and fulham makes we worry. last season the only league game i can recall we didnt score in was wigan away. 3. when players are injured our 2nd string should be capable of coming in and filling a whole against the likes of fulham. toure was our best player yesterday and saved us from conceding more than 1. theo and denilson were awful. if theo is going to have a place in the side on the wing he needs a trick or something to get past a defender. i lost count yesterday how many misplaced passes denilson played to a white shirt. i was surprised wenger didnt change it say on 60 mins and put ramsey on for denilson to try and see if ramsey could make something happen and put his foot on the ball.

Think this is a game were Hleb's creativity could have really helped us out, we looked out of idea's for most of the game. That Almunia, who should have been shoving the guy who blocked him off for the corner perhaps, didn't have a thing to do reflects one part of the game, that the opposition keeper had one save to make sums up the king of game. Too many times we got into the final third and hit a poor cross, hit a long shot or wasted the ball by another route. Both our wingers didn't get anything like the possession they should have

We should also give Fulham a lot of credit, they defended really well and didn't then muck it up at a simple corner, Zamora was a handful and they deserved something from the game.

Positives:
Nasri looked quite good, awful set peices aside. Might want to consider attacking the far post more, try to get in front of the covering defender.
We hit the woodwork and thought Ade did well with the very little he had of the ball.
In open play, how many chances did Fulham have? One? Thought for the most part, we did actually defend well but of course that means nothing if you have then play silly idiots at a corner.
Song and Toure got fitness
Walcott did well in the first half but couldn't get the ball in the second half
Hopefully we won't see that midfield again

Negatives:
I said Gallas was right to shout at Djorou last game. Someone should have done so to Gallas for failing to pick up a large threat at a corner. Seriously, how do you lose a guy that big? Titchy mc Midget, that I could understand losing, but not their only big centreback! :banghead:

Why did we play Eboue in a flat midfield? We started him against WBA sitting in front of the defence, allowed him to sweep up balls and set the attacks going or to charge up from deep. Eboue was only really effective yesterday when used as an emergency centreback.

Denilson- what happened to his passing? Did someone slip him the "Gerrard vs Croatia" video?

Van Persie. After a cracking goal for Holland in midweek that I hoped would be the start of brighter things, he came back and played badly. Missed a good chance early on, awful set peices (not as bad as Nasri's but that wasn't hard) and don't think he hit the target once the entire game. Without his spark, we were never going to win when the performance was so poor from the team

Lack of idea's. Vela not on the bench, are we going to miss him after every international break?

Sanga. Toure had to cover for him defensively, lost his temper late on and as for his crossing... well the only way anything was going in was if the horribly overhit and overpowered efforts decapitated someone and deflected in that way. Vied with Denilson for me as worst player on the pitch

If Arsene was telling the truth about they wanted it more, why? Did we, I know some fans who did, get lured by a false sense of security due to our record against them? Were they simply feeling the effects of international break? We shouldn't be lacking hunger

Its probably been repeated multiple times already but if i dont vent im gonna end up going ape shit mental AGAIN. Todays performance was an absolute disgrace of epic proportions. EBOUE has no fucking right to be in our team any longer. A right back converted into a right winger playing in central midfield. He is at best a pathetic clown who should be hung for disgraceful approach and severely handicapped ability on a football field. Denilson: I was impressed when he first started in the Carling cup but clearly this lad wants to emulate how Song played two years ago when we 2-1 at the cottage. What a horrible performance from him. Nice lad or not, young or not he was absolutely fecking toss today which leads me to our glorious manager who i respect but his decisions today were quite frankly laughable. Hey Arsene Dennys playing rubbish shall we bring him off. No lets bring on his obvious replacement Song for Toure instead. Has it not occurred to this stubborn git that we have no holding midfielder and without Fabregas have absolutely no creativity in the midfield. Wallcott seems to have gone to sleep for the Autumn and Nasri looked weak at best. Gallas should not be captain. He is a terrible individual and a pathetic leader of men. He communicates as well with his fellow defenders as Hitler did with certain races. Arsene Wenger you have just over a week to address the situation before things really do hit the fan and hard. Arsenal are being run in an appaulling state atm. How much longer do they expect us to fork out 50-70 a game without producing success. I effectively spent 48 quid to see a pub team take on a mediocre premiership team who never got out of 2nd gear themselves. Credit to Fulham and particularly their Midfield who battled like true warriors but I am disgusted with the attitude of this club, its players and the way they have conducted themselves today in front of 4000 of the finest support they will have all season. Oh and on a final note. Adebayor on 80 grand a week is a fucking embarrassment because he quite frankly could not give a shit about the club or anyone involved judging by todays performance. There was in fighting after the game all over the place and I for one am not surprised. WAKE THE HELL UP ARSENE cause eventually people will start to realise they can see better things elsewhere in london
Sorry but how can you blame Ade?

He had fuck all service and no support

Great performance from the fans today, mainly in the first half.
Still the odd wanker, calling for Wengers head though. Glad one got a rollocking off the bloke behind him.
Why should a player who spends half his time offside and the other half scratching his arsehole instead of pulling his weight get good service. He had the ball alot yesterday and did F all with it. Just cause hes a striker doesnt mean he doesnt have to contribute to the play unless hes one on one with the keeper.

Silvestre is 6ft 2 Gallas 5ft 11 Toure 5ft 10

Kompany is not that good, plus he has had significant injuries whilst at Hamburg.

I do agree that we need to sort out central defence though!

i havent really seen kompany play but by todays performance we missed out. 1st half he played cdm what we need and then he moved to cb, For £6.7m arsene he can play 2 positons thats £3.35m a position. right up our street. why track a player for 3 years then when you need someone like him not buy him. IMO at £6.7m we have missed out big time.

Pain in my hole. Played footy and fucking had the quickest shower and change of clothes to get down the boozer in time for kick off, got the pints on with the boys and we had to sit through that??  :banghead:

And surrounded by mouthy fucking fairweather Irish manure "fans" giving it loads screaming their stupid fucking inbred heads off for Fulham.

Mother of Christ. I'm still fuming. I can take us getting beaten by a better side if we fight to the fucking death trying our hardest, but to just piss about and roll over to mediocre shit like Fulham?? Fuck me swinging.

Only positive was Wenger's face during post match interview. He knows we are no where near good enough now. Will he do anything about it?? Fucked if I know.

I was interested by the comments of Wenger post-game where he stated that our midfield was outplayed. His solution to this, of course, was to leave Ramsey on the bench and bring on Song at centre-half. I also can not see the reason to give Wilshere a squad number if you are going to leave him warming his arse for 90 minutes while Eboue and Denilson are allowed to play the whole game "creating" opportunities for the front men. The more I think about it, the more I think Wilshere's promotion was a sop to the fans to make us forget the lack of signings - the movement of the star youngster into the first-team squad was supposed to appease us all.

I am truly disgusted at Wenger and his lack of moves to address the obvious problems in this team. We are still waiting for the centre-back who will dominate his own penalty-area. We saw a guy score yesterday from a cross that was 3 yards from goal - Gallas didn't challenge, while our "goalkeeper" (and I use the term loosely) stood rooted to the spot.

Ten days ago Wenger promised us he would be bringing in a midfield player before the FC Twente second leg (two days to go). Friday, he tells the press that he maybe will bring someone in before the deadline. Stop lying to the supporters and get your finger out of your arse before we slide too far - if we are struggling against the likes of those we've played so far, then God help us when the big boys arrive on the scene.

you didn't see him try to come out but get blocked off? Jens would have shoved the guy but had Almunia done that and conceded a penalty, I think I can guess the reaction to that here.

Carling Cup, Fa Cup and a wing player for the senior team which wouldn't have affected much given our inability to get the ball out wide

terrible performance

at least clichy, toure an sagna were trying

gallas shocking as always to think they have to listen to him in that dressing room

denilsons worst game ver but has potential (maybe he was training for everyone on wednesday??)

eboue f*ck off and die, i really hoped murphy broke his leg when he went down he is an embarrassment and in my opinion the worst player in the premiership

bendtner off the bench was awful, his first touch was worse than theo's

van persie too slow with the trigger needs to work harder
ade same as robin

AND WHERE THE F*CK IS VELA???

You want some guy to die and to suffer pain because he is a bad player?

Don't let your bias overshadow his performance or anything

You're going too far there mate. He might be the most annoying c**t but he does not deserve that. Remember, he was nearly very seriously injured in the first half and the other guy even won the free-kick!

Eboue as second-choice right back. Nothing more.
