well after Brexit less people will be able to afford to travel abroad, and so the UK will become more and more insular.
a poorer nation has less time to think for themselves - that is one consequence of Brexit

It could be worse the people at the lower end of the pay scale would love a Hi De Hi holiday mate. Its people like you that turn their nose up at such things that caused the Brexit vote in the first placeGunner Rob wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:16 pmhere we are:

I predict the return of Hi De Hi as we all go back to the good old days of the 1950s British Holiday camps![]()
that is what the Brexiters wanted after all isn't it ?![]()

I think people are really more concerned with making ends meet than their next holiday to the Carribbean!Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 8:39 amfair enoughflash gunner wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 7:44 amIt could be worse the people at the lower end of the pay scale would love a Hi De Hi holiday mate. I know lots of people cant afford a holiday full stop.
the point here though is Brexit will mean EVEN FEWER people will be able to afford a holiday, whether it is here in the UK or abroad.
a lot of people voted for Brexit because they felt that they had nothing to lose. my argument was that unless you were homeless that was complete rubbish - lots of people had a lot more to lose than they realised.
