OZIL - Merged Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

how many more 'artists' we need to support Picasso?.The team will cost 1b.Why not just abandon him as our No 10?.

28. We need 28 artists. Because it has to be one extreme or the other right? We dont need balance with 4 or 5 top class players and a group of good effective hard working players supporting them. No no no we just need 28 world class players because that's the way all the top teams are, aren't they? That's the way our 98, 02, and 04 sides were right? Yep. Everyone of them an artist right? No workers just all artists. Yep.

Jesus wept. Can you butt out? Men are having a debate here ffs.

I have some advice for you. If you bring nothing to the debate then say nothing. Give it a try. :D

to be fair, that 98 team suited Bergkamp perfectly. Vieira, Petit and Parlour doing the hard work and Overmars and Wright (and Anelka) making intelligent incisive runs for Bergkamp to find 8)

Nobody came in for him when he was in the last year of his contract, even last January when he was free to sign a pre contract with a European club there was nobody that came in for him.

Says it all.

Wouldn't play him again. Adds nothing along with Xhaka, Ramsey, Bellerin and Iwobi. Torreira is a proper player and surely should start every week as should Lacazette alongside Abameyang. Just my opinion

100% this ^^. Personally I don't believe that story but if IF it were true than he should be sacked or sold ASAP. No player is bigger or more important than the club.
