Martinelli, Trossard, Rice, Saka. All missing chances that teams who win these things take every time. Fucking years of us not being good enough when it matters.
Spot on , fine lines between winning and not .

The sooner this disaster of a season ends when so much was expected the better .

I hope we get something out of the next two league games but Liverpool comes to soon , then those crunts from further up north

The forum is slower than Partey’s train of thought

Too little too late. I think Robbo called it earlier "glorious failure"

In some ways it sounds harsh because the team could have been a couple of goals up inside 10 minutes and their keeper has now made at least 5 absolutely top drawer saves over the two legs

However, one has to ask why always the nearly men? League runners up, losing semi finalists domestically and internationally. Can it really always be refs or rank bad luck?

Lack of quality in the final third and a Partey brainfart was the difference as I see it. More passes, more possession, more shots. But when it counted at the crucial moments, found wanting. Enrique has turned round a bunch of failures here whilst we are 5 and a half years into a project where we are just perennial bridesmaids

It's a really rough feeling

Odegaard is a big fucking problem for us now. What do with him? Bench the captain? Stick with his shite performances? Cash in while we still can? Arteta doesn’t have the balls does he.

Pathetic and so fucking predictable. Arteta has to go. Failed to deliver again when it matters. Completely incabale of getting a performance out the team when it matters. Watch the dippers or Cheaty walk the league or this thing next year, watch the Chavs blow 500m this summer on two of every player they need, watch us buy some fucking dross out of mid-table Spain or Italy and some fucking fifth choice keeper from Portugal or Belgium or some fucking where. Then watch us not buy any goalscorers. Nothing will change apart from a 2008-17 style worsening of performances and results. It's over, it's never going to happen under this fucking art student. No points giving him the "One more year" shit, fuck off and get a proper manager in who knows how to win things.

Didn't watch or follow a second of it, in the hope that would do us some luck.

Season over, let's just fucking call it quits and meet back again in August.

Which we will fluke a 2-0 no doubt and all will be rosy. “It is hard to come here and win the game but we did it. Good progress, amazing character this season etc etc”.

Saka nicked a goal but in reality our front 3 tanked all 180 minutes in the biggest 2 games of their careers.

The difference between both sides was in the final third, they took their chances we missed ours.

Blood on the hands of every single person in the club who exited last summer without a striker.
