Do you like your job?
I've been at my job for two years and at first I really liked it, but now I FUCKING HATE IT! I can't stand dealing with the members who whine and complain all the fecking time and don't have a clue how a golf course is run. But I get nice perks like free golf and free golf equipment so thats kinda nice. But planning on quiting in march because I'm working and going to school fulltime and its draining the life outta me.

Been doing my job for over three years now.
Can be ridiculously hectic at times, but I get the chance to travel round a bit from site to site which I prefer than being stuck on same desk everyday.
I do work on Sundays at times, but as my boss is a Gooner I get to take time off for games, even for the training day!

Gus is an engineering manager who looks after what are termed "critical enviroments".
I love what I do but I hate who I work for. I have always worked for companies before where engineering was the core business but now I work for a firm where it is simply a necessary evil.
I am used to being part of a team and kinda being top boy but I am now usually working alone under the instructions of a stroppy Italian.
I was mis-sold the job and I am currently looking to leave but its hardly the ideal time.
I do remember though that right now I am lucky to have a job.

Love and hate my job. Good parts of the job is, it is quite interesting and each case is a different story so its not the same boring routines every day. The downsid eof the job, i work for my old man. Basically, you are not like any other employee, you get paid less them them, and you are on 24 hour call. In other words, you are a slave when you work for your dad. The best side to my job though, 4 minutes walking distance from home. Wake up 6.30, walk the dog for an hour, go home, back in bed, back up at 8.40 and at my desk by 9!

Love it!
I've been able changed the way in which we work (and will continue to do so) as it makes life easier!
I've got the best seat in the house. At the back of the office with a window next to me but facing all. So no-one behind me except a wall. I can see if anyone (important) enters the floor and likewise have amble time if anyone approches.
If fact my colleagues probably think I'm busy I type alot, but the truth is I'm posting on here!
I'm also 20 mins from Home. I'm also based in the West End (Oxford St.) but that has it down side as I personally hate the West End!
9-5:30 is the norm but me & my colleague (The special ones) work either 8:30-5 or 9:30-6 between us.
So (like this morning) I'll turn up at 8:50 before the others or on a late I'll give the heard a 5 minutes head start and be out the door at 5:35!!
Happy Days!
