Do you like your job?
When you consider how long (maybe not for some) you spend doing it, do you actually like what you do. Radford really enjoys his job having been here for many years can't see myself doing much else to be honest.

I can honestly say I love my job, I've only been in it since the beginning of October but its a great company with great people and I found out yesterday I've passed my probation period.
Last year I worked for two firms I hated, the first for 5 years and I was miserable in both so its great to be somewhere so good that will help my career too

doing a boring fucking office job Monday to Friday - there are some perks like Holiday entitlemennt, LGPS, Sick Leave, and flexi working hours - but hate getting up at 7.20am every morning to be into work at 8.45pm and working till 5pm
but hey it pays the bills

I like the people I work with, they're a great bunch of blokes.
I also love my occupation/profession and I'm bloody good at it.
The problem is....I fucking hate doing it here.
As nice as everyone is they are stuck in the 1980's and have no idea what it takes to be effective today. Because they've all been at this company for 20+ years they are very insular.
Change is something that terrifies them and they fight it at every opportunity.
It's difficult to explain because they all have genuine reasons for doing what they do to be awkward. They honestly think they are doing right and they won't listen to me at all.
It's a shame because if I could convince them to go along with things then their work would be much easier etc.
