Muslim Protests

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

It will be a very real event.

Nations will stop fighting each other.

As to what else will happen, no one knows or sure, though there has been a lot of speculation.
WE'll all turn jewish I suppose? Mohammed in Sudan and Jochen in Germany as well? 8)

Come on, can you speculate on possible out(2nd)comings?

What is KNOWN, rather than speculation, is that:

The existence of one G-D will be recognised, and that countries will not fight wars against each other.

There is no definitive knowledge beyond that, only educated guesses.

Sounds great, but I would rather we don't nuke half the world to find out how educated those guesses are!?

And can you tell me, what God, what religion? Jewish? Some new religion that will unite John from England wit Mohammed from Sudan with Pablo from Ecuador?

There is no surety that a nucleur war will happen before The Messiah.

As I said, two conditions only are known as to what happens when The Messiah arrives:

1.) The whole world will recognise the existence of the one G-D.

2.) Nations will no longer fight.

Beyond that I cannot speculates because Judaism prohibits more than a small amount of discussion of what will happen after The Messiah comes, because no one knows exactly what will happen.

If though, you, by some incredible process of clairvoyance, know exactly who will win the 3.30 at Kempton, please tell, as I am sure the Forum would like a bet.

When the Messiah comes people today will mock him/her. Just in the same way that they did Divid Icke!

Of course, the messiah can only come if you actually believe the fairy stories surrounding the original one.

Quartz,

You said it is KNOWN that following will happen:

1.) The whole world will recognise the existence of the one G-D.

2.) Nations will no longer fight.

I'm asking you kindly to share that knowledge with me and tell me HOW is it KNOWN? Is it written in some holy jewish book? How? please...

It is written in the bible.

1) The acknowledgment of One G-D is to be found in Zechariah Chapter 14 Verse 9

"And it is said: Hashem (which is a way of saying G-D) will be King over all the world - on that day Hashem will be One and His name will be One".

2.) Nations no longer fighting is - Isaiah Chapter 2 Verse 4 and Micah Chapter 4 Verse 3

"They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore."

BTW if anyone's wondering what is point of this conversation between me and Quartz, it's following:

We should never let emotions run over reason. Nutters like those muslim radicals and those cristian radicals and all other fu**ing radicals only thrive if they manage to bring you down to their level and that's something reasonable people should never allow themselves to slip into.

And as someone pointed out on this or some other thread, why aren't we disscussing far more important subjects such as:

WHERE IS ALL FU**ING MONEY GONE? WHERE IS IT?

Or is it once againg going to be working class whose going to pick up a (literally) bloody tab?

Think about it.

Except that you seem to be saying that my beliefs are unreasonable?

Whereas I consider them reasonable.

I also do not see my beliefs in terms of "religion" but rather as a response to knowledge of G-D.

If you are talking about control then my faith links to the rule of law,

but it most certainly does not link to being a slave to a consumer economy.

One example being that my obvious passion for Arsenal does not overide my non-attendance of games on a Saturday because of the Sabbath.

You must be a happy bunny since Sky made us play half our games on Sundays and Mondays, Quartz.

Indeed I am Olgit!

Otherwise it would be about only six or seven home games a season for me.

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.
