On his performances this season you would think no one would be stupid enough to pay more than 15m for the muppet, but with todays crazy market for forwards even one minute wonders and the fact that someone like Valencia from Wigan was valued at 21.5m we have surely got to be looking for a similar figure for Ade.
Adebayor and Senderos for Flamini and 20m would do nicely.

Flamini did what he had to do considering his 4 years with us - remember he was paid a very low basic wage on his original contract, played at left back and then dropped for CL Final for real greedy *word censored*, nearly offloaded to birmingham... and held out for £10 a week more when he had some understandble interest from abroad (then we doubled that for adebayor).Irish Gooner wrote:Why do people want Flamini back after the way he left??
Lets bring Cashley and Hleb back as well ffs..![]()
Have some pride.
A bit of perspective on this forum wouldn't go amiss now and again.

15 million is more than enough Magic...we#ll pick up someone on the cheap for 6 million and bank the rest.Magic Hat wrote:Isn't he our top scorer in the EPL this season? He is a rarity in our squad, a striker able to head home the ball on the rare occasions we hit a cross without it ending up in the stands. 20 million maybe but 15 million isn't going to allow us to buy a replacement and new bodies elsewhere

- we had a 25 % sell on clause for Diarra and we got 6 million for him from Pompey, not 5. In total we made 8 million of his sale (taking off what we paid for him when we bought him), so we basically made as much money as Portsmouth did. That's not bad for a player that was at the club for 4 months.SteveO 35 wrote:I'd take 15 million grains of rice for the tosser
Still it does wind me up how cheaply we sell
Diarra for £5m - joke
Henry for £16m (Charlton got as much for Darren Bent) - when we had the chance of £35m the year before
- there was no chance in hell to get 35 million for Henry the year before, if anything we would have got less than 16 million. He was in the last year of his contract. Please don't make shit up.
Selling Adebayor for 15 million would be absolute madness and it won't happen.
Don't accuse me of making shit up mate. If you want to be really picky as seems to be your way we actually got 5.5m from Portsmouth. So, you think that a sell-on clause which allowed us to make as much money from the deal as Portsmouth, was a better deal than making him an established part of midfield which has subsequently come up woefully short and then selling him directly to someone like Real for £20m and taking all the money. Come back to me with a decent response next timehadareud wrote:- we had a 25 % sell on clause for Diarra and we got 6 million for him from Pompey, not 5.
