The most over-used phrases in football

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

YES WE FUCKING KNOW THAT, NO REASON TO STATE IT *EVERY* *SINGLE* *TIME* THEY GET A FREE KICK/CORNER

as i watch all the arsenal games, be it online or on the tv you can imagine it gets slightly annoying having to hear this 38+ times a year: "Arsenal try to much to play perfect football, theyre trying to thread it through the eye of a needle, theyre lacking in the final third etc...."

does my head in everytime i hear that
