out of order the treatment reyes got,esp in our game with them. not saying he should have got a standing ovation, but the lad done a ok job with us. ida prefered if our current no.27 got booed again, esp for wearing that rangers jersey and acting a toal prick at the end. walter smith, can u possibly make eboue a permanet rangers player??, PLEASE.

The booing was disgusting (and like some others I clapped him instead - like I also clapped Eboue on that fateful night). We are losing our class and it is very sad the kind of "new" fan we are attracting.

I genuinely don't get some of our fans anymore.

I just think that to boo players shows a lack of class, and I really don't like it. Ok, Cashley and Bentley deserve an ear bashing, but players like Reyes, Eboue, Bendtner, etc. certainly don't! - I even think booing Ade had a negative impact on our season.

The culture of booing as soon as we're disgruntled has diliuted it's meaning... suddenly booing has little impact. Hell, even Ade thought Cesc was booed, so instead of singling out Ade, we confused him into thinking he was in good company! :banghead:

Reserve boo's for those who truely deserve it, instead of turning the Grove into a fecking pantomime!

g88ner, i totally agree. Last season a new contingent of 'fans' were sitting in my block and were quick to boo any of the forementioned players should they fuck up. Me and my mate had a word with them about their lack of respect and it almost kicked off. At the end of the day we seem to have a lot of ill informed 'fans' who have probably watched most matches in the pub. The sense of 'support' at a game in the ground is cruciallly different to bravado piss heads in the pub ridiculing Eboue, Nick etc...
Frankly it realy pisses me off and i never experienced this back at Highbury. Probably for 2 reasons. Firstly, our later years at the Gillespie road where great in terms of success. Secondly, The Grove has allowed a further 30,000 wankers into the ground who probabaly 'choose' Arsenal as a team to support on the back of my 1st reason. Wankers

I thought it was pretty stupid booing him but I think the reason for it was the way he handled wanting to get out of the club

I will never, ever forgive Riley. That one man robbed us of a fiftieth unbeaten match.

A *word censored* of the highest order.

Should be banned from reffing ANY match involving Manyoo. Or their rivals.

Fucking ironic that The Grove was full of the type of fans the club wants over the weekend yet they do the one thing the club dont want them to do.......stand up!

You weren't in club level were you? There was a family of Asians up there last year beside us and they always gave me the impression they thought they had bought ST's for the cricket!

Lovely people but they just sat there and never showed any emotion... :?
