I disagree... I think Bendtner and Denilson will have very decent careers.nuttygoonerpaul wrote:the only player from brazil with no skill Denilson and he sign,s a new deal , and oh joy bendtner aswell , two players who are a pile of crap...
Anyway, you say Denilson is the only Brazilian with no skill.... have you forgotten about Julio 'The Beast' Baptista???!!

NGP, it amazes me also that when we buy Brazilian players they have no skill, possibly with the exception of Edu.nuttygoonerpaul wrote:the only player from brazil with no skill Denilson and he sign,s a new deal , and oh joy bendtner aswell , two players who are a pile of crap...
You can just imagine Denilson being the ultimate last pick when teams are being organised on Copacabana beach.
Thought I saw a bit of skill in Denilson a long time ago, but I have always thought bendtner was crap. Maybe Denilson will improve this season? Bendtner either runs about like a headless chicken or has the greedybarndoor disease of laziness and offsidedness (if there is such a wordnuttygoonerpaul wrote:the only player from brazil with no skill Denilson and he sign,s a new deal , and oh joy bendtner aswell , two players who are a pile of crap...

Someone remind me - why haven't Arsenal won a trophy for the last 4 years?
Oh yeah - because we keep on paying out huge salaries to mediocre players like these 2.
A few Gooners might rate these 2 but the 50,000 or so that are needed to pay off the debts just won't keep turning up if this is the best we can do.

this is one of the main reasons we havent competed for 4 years soon to be 6, we pay massive wages to unproven, undeserving, average players. ramseys turned down manu cos we pay him 30 grand a week, wtf?? manu probably offered him a realistic wage so he came to us.
bendtner and denilson could be ok long term, but these deals will be in the region of 50-60grand a week, money that they would earn NOWHERE else at the mo. curently they would not be 1st choice players for any other top 6 maybe even top 8 club.
whos fault is it we have a wage bill on par with utd? AW.
he really has lost it and must go at the end of the season. can you imagine fergie or mourno paying the mediocrity we have such massive wages. unbelievable.
cant way to here the excuses the rosetinters trot out come the end of the season.....clueless (they cant be true fans cos they obviously dont care about theis club being succesful at all!!! :D )

[quote]Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that midfielder Denilson has signed a new long-term contract with the Club.
Having joined Arsenal in 2006 from his homeland club Sao Paulo, Denilson (21) firmly established himself in the Gunners’ engine room in the 2008/09 season, making more appearances than any other Arsenal player during the campaign. Having played in every Premier League game, the young midfielder clocked up an impressive 51 appearances in all competitions scoring three goals.
A busy and efficient player with a good eye for a pass, Denilson has captained his country at every level from Under-15 to Under-20 and was a finalist at the 2005 FIFA Under-17 World Championships.
Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger said: “Denilson’s contribution to the Club last season was outstanding. His work rate really was exceptional and it is valuable to have players that we know will perform to the very last minute in such a demanding league. I’m pleased that he has committed his long-term future to the Club. â€

I think I can solve our problems, I will gladly play for Arsenal as a holding midfielder, Im over 30 overweight, so I wont run around that much and will just let the others do all the running for me, whilst I stay back. I will gladly lay out Drogba, and take personal delight in sticking a KAIRDIFFF KISS on fat f:@ker Rooney from Old Trafford and as I am being sent off I will tweak Sir Alex on his red nose. I am available on a free transfer, in fact my boss will pay for me to bugger off and ruin someone elses day
So problem solved we have 3 new signings Denilson, Bender and me !!!!!!!!!!!
The League is ours
