i agree totally that we aint gonna win the league and think that even if we did buy the players needed to win the league it would still take another year or two before we can be conciderd title contenders (oh shit i'm starting to sound like arsen).
But although its not really good enough i feel that with the likes of city and dare i say tottenham and maybe villa or everton nicking points of each other and maybe liverpool i would be happy at the moment to COMFORTABLY qualifie for the champs league next year in 4th or 3rd and win the f.a. cup. The only trouble with this case is i dont think it will change lack of spending on the squad but i think the board should move on before wenger THEN we will be able to tell where the penny pinching is stemming from if the bord steps down or gets taken over and things stay the same then as much as i would be gutted it would have to be bye bye wenger
Be positive!
Its not going to be an open league this season.By christmas Chelsea and Man utd will have pulled away from the rest. Why?because they have the best squads.Liverpool Citeh and us are playing for the remaining 2 CL placesBournemouthRED wrote:played poorly today, but a nice win at home against wigan will send us the right direction again. its gonna be very open league this year and i for one have faith still.
Frustrating as it is, the only thing we can do is choose to go and support the team or stay at home and sulk.
All thsi talk about dropping players, but if you drop the shit that needs replacing then the replacements are even fucking worse. Im getting seriously fucked off with Wenger and the board, one of either of them are lying and its time we were told the truth. Wenger has had numerous occasions to strenghthen the sqaud but refuses and hes so fucking stubborn he will never admit that hes wrong. 4th is once again looking like the best we will do, but 4th for a club like ours is not fucking good enough, although the board and Wenger will be happy with that, they are not the mugs that fork out the highest prices in Europe to watch shit players being played out of position. I doubt very much if Fabregas and Arshavin will be around next season

Just like Cesc was gonna leave in the summer?

What I will be saying is the same as I did last year when the run stretched to 21 games. Wait till the period Jan-May when we play the other big four teams. Arsene's record in this department is shocking and its an underpublished statisticRobsy wrote:Actually I think there's a valid point here...look at our next 8 fixtures, we could very well go on an 8-match unbeaten run, then what will everyone be saying? The fact is, in the next two months the opposition, aside from Fulham, aren't that good. It may only be papering cracks, but it will buy Wenger time and maybe get us back on track.
I was pissed of when Ade scored, but this only the fourth game of 38! There's plenty of time and we've been here before...
I quite expect us to go 8 games unbeaten. Put it this way if we don't go unbeaten in the CL group it will be an underachievement.
