I believe this is the first game we played poorly...yes we dropped another 3 points...But where was our confident after the MANU game?
I am gutted as one of your guys, but asking Wenger to leave now will solve our problem (sorry mrgnu)? I don't think so...
I think we just have a poor game in the end after the international week, if we could play some good football like our first 3 games, I still believe we could have a good season....Come on you gooners
Actually I think there's a valid point here...look at our next 8 fixtures, we could very well go on an 8-match unbeaten run, then what will everyone be saying?
The fact is, in the next two months the opposition, aside from Fulham, aren't that good. It may only be papering cracks, but it will buy Wenger time and maybe get us back on track.
I was pissed of when Ade scored, but this only the fourth game of 38! There's plenty of time and we've been here before...

And what will that prove? That we are a good team that can beat average sides but when we need quality in the big games.......
It's too early to say we're out of the title race tbh.
Let's wait another 5 games and see where we are on the league.
But I agree with wlchuccc, this is the first game we played poorly (like last season), it could be an accident.
In case you haven't noticed, we're 9 points behind a powerful and seemingly unstoppable Chelsea; 6 points behind defending champions Man Utd, who despite not playing great or deserving it, beat us last week and played well today; and a similar total behind City, who have a stronger squad then us.
i know its hard to be positve and i'm not a rose tinter but city have spent a shit load of money on good quality prooven premier league players some of who we would have liked i.e. barrie and S.W.P(before he went to chelsea) they are also well capable of taking points off the other big teams i think we should see how things go if say they take points of man utd, liverpool or chelsea over the course of the season would this be seen as such a bad result i dont think so personally.and i know i would much rather drop points agaist the likes of city than the really shit teams such as hull and stoke as we have been over the past couple of years.
As i said i'm no rose tinter and agree totally that the likes of bendtner, diaby, denilson, eboue and almunia aint good enough but we need to get behind them cos booing them and slagging them of aint gonna make them any better and you never know 1 or 2 of them may supprise us and sort their act out.

We beat a dishevelled Everton and a crap Pompey. Celtic would be mid-table in the premier league so the 5-1 win was to be expected.
We lost to United despite being the better team. We lost to City who had 5 shots on target. Both those teams have decent points gap ahead of us and City will strengthen in January, our tight board won't. Spurs are getting better as are Villa,Everton and even Sunderland. We have an inconsistent Diaby, a dodgy Almunia an unprotected Fabregas , non top four player-Bendtner,average Denison, I could continue........Still feeling positive ?

I agree we shouldn't boo and I never have but I just think this squad is fragile and very vulnerable if injuries occur to certain players. What you said about dropping points against the likes of City means we would have to rely on other teams to do us favours to get champions league football next season if today is a marker of where we are and where City are.
If we drop out of the champions league, we will lose players like Cesc and Arshavin and the only way we will be able to attract decent players will be to pay them lots like City, something our board will not do...though I can't say I blame that too much for not paying over the odds but if we slip out of the champs league it could decimate our team.
It's not that dire. If we'd played (and won) our game in hand, we'd be in the top four tonight, which wouldn't look too bad.
We've got three tough away fixtures out of the way - Everton, Man Utd and Man City - whilst only having had just the one home game.
Based on the upcoming fixtures, I'm fairly confident that we can notch some points up relatively quickly; especially when the Arshavin/Rosicky pairing finally gets going.

We went 21 games unbeaten last season but still finished 4th.The difference between us and Chelsea and Man Utd is they go on 10 game winning runs not just unbeaten runs

Totally right.
We could all give up now, four games in OR get behind the team and hope we can help them achieve something this season.
I criticise the team as much as the next person, but at some point, you've got to back them, because slagging it all off is fucking pointless.
played poorly today, but a nice win at home against wigan will send us the right direction again. its gonna be very open league this year and i for one have faith still.
Frustrating as it is, the only thing we can do is choose to go and support the team or stay at home and sulk.
