Mousers going out?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Which three? Torres, Gerrard, the off form Kuyt, Reiera, Yossi or Ngog? Going forward, might as well add in Johnson attacking wise and we will see about the new guy, Liverpool have been doing well over the last year, scoring plenty of goals. Problem is, they can't defend anymore, they once won the golden gloves with Reina but hard to see them winning it this year. Which is unlike a Benetiz team containing Reina, Carragher, Agger, Skertel, Insua and Masch

They've relied on him, at the back, for years, he now looks finished.. :?
but I really don't give a flying fuck about them.... although I do agree (again) with what Augie said about them a couple of posts above.. :?

...Benitez amazes me..he's had more than enough to spend over the years to have a squad bursting with talent, yet his side is totally reliant on two players..I think his problem is more to do with his tactical preference than his choice of player..whilst i think he could have done much better with the players he has chosen to buy over the years considering the money he spent, on the whole the vast majority have failed to shine mainly because they are expected to fit into Rafa's rigid team structure, which tends to stifle most players individual game, hence making them look half the player they looked before they went there..

Rafa's a lucky boy, because if the fans antagonism wasn't focused so much on the yanks i think he would been gone by xmas, he should have been sacked last year after a huge spend in the previous two off seasons and nowt to show for it, yet he still spoke like that was because he was under funded and the fans wanted to believe this, if only we had been so under-funded  we'd have had to build a bigger trophy cabinet.

funny thing is - when they have a complete fit squad there first 11 is still shite

Liverpool only have about 5 decent players

That's not a bad backbone...added to that Kuyt (don't laugh  ) who, if you forget the transfer fee and that he is a striker, performs a useful "Parlour" like role, with setting up goals and chipping in.

Where Benitez falls down it seems, as has been pointed out, is the players around this or the back-up. The constant chopping and changing can't help.

Still, what do I know...and it's all good fun
