As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
after the game i popped into my local offy and had a bit of a banter with the scouse supporting shop owner. His reply was 'at least we can concentrate on the premier league'
I wont lie, i'm devastated, i'm happy enough to be playing in the UEFA Cup, but the way the club is at the moment is nothing i've seen in years. We may not finish in the top 4 this season and we're broke. The long term future of the club is looking bleak. The only good thing to come of this is a potential tie against Everton in the latter stages of the Europa League.
Nice to hear from you again Bojde, and sincerely hope you're well. I know you stopped posting after you got upset/a bit of abuse from some on here during a heated debate about Hillsborough a while back, but am glad that despite that, you've seen fit to pop back.
I know you've probably said it on here before but where do you stand with regards Benetiz? Do you think that unless things improve dramatically over the next few months, this should be his last season at the club? Or do you think he deserves even more time? And can you see yourselves ever winning the Premiership whilst the Spaniard and those two American clowns are still at the club?
(Oh and ****, before you ask - I deleted your post!! There was no need to write that stuff about what Bojde was doing here, and deep down you know it was harsh or else you wouldn't have needed to ask the question!! )
Always like to see English sides doing well but as good as Liverpool have been going forward, they are defending horribly. Sometimes an English club ends up in Eurpoa (we did, Man U failed to even get that far once) so it isn't a complete disaster. Benetiz can go on and win it but he must get into the top four, he must find a way to get his defence working again
The mouser I work with today is very busy reminding everyone how they have won it 5 times
History is a great thing but it doesn't compensate for being shite now. I think Benitez has to go. He's signed 60 players in 5 years and can't find a decent first 11 Fucking shit management and goes to show that spunking money away isn't always the answer. I know we often complain about AW's reluctance to spend but I know which of the two I would rather have.
