Tough game but as someone stated earlier villa weren't all that against stoke and stoke were hard done by when you consider the goal crouch was allowed in the same weekend.
I predict a 2-1 win, just need to stop those crosses coming over because carew is a monster in the air and both gallas and tv together are not gonna stop him getting his head to it.
This is one game where we don't need to push forward too hard because as mentioned earlier villa are a decent counter attacking side with real pace.
I would certainly start diaby after his second half performance against hull, left back position is a problem, when are any of our real left backs coming back from injury?
C'mon you gunners

If you take Fab' out of our line up - then they are clearly better, at least on paper. Even with Fab' our line-up is distinctly underwhelming.
If this is how the teams face off, we'll do well to get a draw :-
Possible starting XIs
Arsenal: Almunia, Eboue, Gallas, Vermaelen, Silvestre, Fabregas, Song, Denilson, Walcott, Arshavin, Nasri.
Aston Villa: Friedel, L Young, Cuellar, Dunne, Warnock, A Young, Petrov, Milner, Downing, Heskey, Agbonlahor.
