MY FIRST GAME THIS SEASON!!! :barscarf:

it will be very very tough, they are a counter-attacking team and we are always vulnerable on the break.

Good point. Villa have bags of pace, and a giant up front... it's our worst nightmare!

We'll have to play an awful lot better than today. I really don't see us winning this one. :(

I'd be happy with a good point against Villa, a win will, be a massive bonus, and a surprise for me.... :?

Ashley Young v Silvestre?!?!?!?!?!?!

Gonna be a really tough game. If we play like we did in the first 45 mins yesterday then we'll be in serious shit.

if the team is along the same lines as yesterday v hull, then the best we can hope for is a draw. sagna back in place of IT, fabregass in place of denilson, ramsey for diaby ,looks like were stuck with tweety at left back though :banghead: rite now, id say villa will come away with 3 pts, as they did last year.

This is a big test. I think Villa's squad is just too short numbers wise to force a top 4 spot and they'll run out of steam come February. But they are bang on form now.

I really hope Fab is back because we will certainly need him.

Big, tough game.
When we face Chelski or Manure I do not expect to win.
But when we face the other contenders for 3rd or 4th place like Aston Villa, Liverpool or Citeh I am very excited because it´s not only about 3 points but the belief that our team is better an improving compared to last season and capable to reach at least 3rd place. That´s the reason why I was so happy after the win over Liverpool last week.
So come on, Arsenal! :barscarf:

I´d go with:
Almunia
Eboue - Verminator - Gallas - Tweety :?
Nasri - Cesc - Song - Diaby
Eduardo - Arshavin

They only ran out of steam last year because of the Europa, they are a massive threat.

This needs to be won, a draw won't be good enough simply because Chelsea and United have dropped more points which needs to be capatalised on, they won't keep allowing us to get back into it when really we should be well out of it.

3 of the next 4 games are at home, all those need to be won really and then who knows what will happen.

On current form we'll do well to get anything from this. Hull were shite on Saturday, this is a different level.
