I don't won't Cesc to go.

The sad fact is we know it's a case of 'when' and not 'if'.
Cesc made some comments about his future being settled before the World cup. This is also the same time frame AW is wishing to complete all his transfers.
Could Cesc be waiting to see what the summer brings for us?

As already mentioned this is a crucial summer for us. For Cesc and indeed for Wenger.
As you said there is one big sale each summer so

Sales will be

Cesc Summer 2010
Arshaving Summer 2011
RVP Summer 2012

Its all mapped out

I think Wenger sees Ramsey as Cescs air apparent. Its a pity the lads out for a bit. Personally I think Wenger will convince him to stay at elast another year.

50-60mil, not a chance, the club will let Cesc go for way short of what we could get, most likely a player (ya ya) and about 10-15 mil tops.
If cash only deal than 25-30 mil.
He will never go for 25-30 million, if kaka is worth 60 million then cesc is worth 70 million at least, read a ssn news article earlier and then looked up kakas stats, 9 goals 3 assists in all competitions, cesc is 19 goals, 8 assists......can't believe i'm resorting to stats :?

Anyhow, is cesc goes for 25-30 million......well fuck em i won't be happy

The rumours are it might be like that.
Barca value Cesc at £40M and are willing lets the likes of Toure, Bojan, Marquez and even Ibrahimovic swap in exhange with some cash also.

So it could be 25-30 plus one of the above.
BTW Citeh and the Chavs had bids of £40M turned down for Ibrahimovic so that suggest a straight swap.

I remember the reports of the Chavs making bids for Henry around £40 million a year or two before he left for £16million (at the same time Bent was sold for the same amount) so it wouldnt suprise me if the board managed to screw this up and negotiate a small amount of money for Cesc :x

£50 million is an absolute minimum for Cesc. Lets face it Barca paid £40million + Eto'o for Ibrahimovic last year, Inters negotiating was first class

If we got some good players in return I'ld feel slightly better about the situation. But it would really hurt me to see him leave

Why has no one from the club come out and said anything?

We're always left in the dark over these things..

In the midst of the season when we lost fabregas for a few games, we still did very well for eg arsenal 5-0 porto. But then, the second time we lost him we completely collapsed so i really have no idea how its going to affect the team.

If we lose fabregas, its like starting from square one, new captain new head of midfield new arsenal hero needed altogether.

Vermaelen new captain then?? Nasri takes position of Cesc?

Almunia was captain when Cesc was out last season so i guess he will take over

I'd want two top players minimum. Fuck the money, none of it will be reinvested in the team if the past is anything to go by. Give us a direct replacement for Cesc (someone that can pass, open up defences, someone with that bit of vision) and a top keeper. Minimum.
